Senior Data Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of a robust data platform to be consumed across the company
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver actionable insights
- Drive innovation and explore emerging technologies to enhance our data capabilities
- Establish and enforce data governance policies and standards to ensure data quality and security
About you:
- Proficiency in Python for data transformation and validation
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing large datasets, as well as experience working with structured and unstructured data sources
- Data engineering and modelling skills such as slowly changing dimensions and dimensional modelling
- Graph database modelling encouraged
- Hands-on experience with data warehousing, data lakes, and cloud platforms, including designing and implementing data solutions at scale
- Self-motivation and curiosity, with a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment, continuously improving both technical and business skills
- Experience with GCP (Google Cloud Platform) tools and services, such as BigQuery, Cloud Run, and Cloud Functions
- Fluency in English (Spanish, a plus)

Job Description
We are looking for a Junior Data Developer with proven experience in the following areas:
- Intermediate experience in developing ETL pipelines using Apache Spark (Scala)
- Orchestrating workflows and Dags using Apache Airflow
- Job scheduling and automation with Control-M
- Hands-on experience working in cloud environments, particularly Azure and Databricks
- Familiarity with KOLT framework (Lambda validations, Lambda SQL) is a plus
- Experience with agile project management tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Strong understanding of testing practices, including preparation, execution, and validation
Requirements (Mandatory):
- Apache Spark (Scala): Intermediate level

Senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer
The opportunity
We are looking for a Senior DevOps engineer to join our EY GDS Consulting Services team focused on providing cutting - edge IT solutions dedicated to the biggest market players in EMEA region.
As a member of our team in the EY GDS Spain office in Malaga, you´ll have a chance to extend your knowledge & experience by working on interesting projects with the newest technologies and approaches. You´ll support clients in choosing the most suitable business solution and take part in digital transformation.
Your key responsibilities
- Provision and automate as much as possible (IaC, Configuration Management), the necessary infrastructure to support various development activities
- Build, test and maintain continuous integration and delivery workflows using CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps etc.)
- Assess existing technology and provide plans and processes for improvement to deliver self-service capabilities for the most common tasks
Skills and attributes for success
- Experience in DevOps practices including design, configuration, continuous integration & delivery workflows in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps etc.)
- Experience with implementing code quality analysis, vulnerability scan and compliance validation
- Experience in Linux/Windows Administration with scripting capability in one or more languages - Python, Bash, PowerShell and Groovy
- Experience in deploying applications (involving Java, .Net and node.JS etc.) and understanding its architecture
- Knowledge in operating a Kubernetes cluster and managing & deploying containerized applications on it
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline with 4+ years of overall experience
- Good technical knowledge of Microservice oriented solutions, APIs, Azure AD and common Cloud authentication patterns
- Cloud/DevOps Certification (MS Azure/AWS/GCP)
Ideally, you´ll also have
- Ability to work in both collaborative and independent work environments
- Proven ability to work as DevOps lead on projects
- Excellent command over English (written and spoken)
