About Crag

CRAG is an independent research institution engaged in leading-edge basic and applied plant and farm animal sciences. CRAG is established as a Consortium of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), Institute of Agrifood Research and Technology (IRTA), Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), and University of Barcelona (UB). The Center is located at the UAB Campus, and currently hosts 200 members from across the world.

Responsibilities

The Center for Research in Agricultural Genomics (CRAG) is looking for a Postdoc Researcher to be part of the group RNA Biology.

The candidate will be in charge of molecular biology techniques (cloning, protein extraction, DNA and RNA samples preparation, genotyping among others) confocal microscopy analysis, growing and maintenance of Arabidopsis plants, and general tasks for laboratory management.

The tasks are included within the framework of the project: REFERENCE PID2022-143130NB-I00 TITLE: Rol Subcelular de la Maquinaria de Sileciamiento en la función de ARN no codificantes Endogenas y Exogenas (SuRoSiMa).

Requirements

Educational requirements:

• Applicants must hold a doctorate degree in a subject related to the tasks before the start of the contract.
