Data Engineer
As a Data Engineer you will oversee data ingestion processes and deployment of ML/IA solutions for predictive analysis for an energy sector customer. You will collaborate with Data Scientist and Data Engineers to achieve project and client goals on a very dynamic environment.
The opportunity
As a member of our team in GDS office in Malaga, Spain, you´ll have a chance to extend your knowledge & experience by working on the interesting projects with the newest technologies and approaches. You´ll support clients in choosing the most suitable business solution and take part in digital transformation.
Your key responsibilities
As a Data Engineer, you will work on the design of end-to-end pipelines for enterprise data loading from different sources, deployment of ML/IA solutions for predictive analysis and improvements on quality of data.
You will also collaborate with the product development teams (business analysts, product owners, developers) to deliver high quality solutions for our customers.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Degree on Statistics, Maths, Informatics or similar.
- 1-3 years of experience as Data Engineer
- Experience in Azure: Databricks, DataFactory, Synapse
- Database knowledge, SQL, OLTP/OLAP
- Experience of Big Data (i.e Spark, Hadoop)
- Very good communication skills in terms of capturing requirements, describing architecture, data flows, etc.
- Excellent communication skills in Spanish (C1 or Native) and in English at least at B1 level.
Ideally, you´ll also have
- Knowledge of cloud solutions
- Experience on Agile and SCRUM methodology.

Job Description
Participation in Markets Data Hub tasks as a Data Engineer in the definition and automation of processes developed using Big Data technologies (Spark Scala, Databricks, Airflow) in Market Risk. The key responsibilities will not be those of a Spark Scala developer, but rather process definition, data preparation, request creation following the department´s procedures for process automation and configuration, and execution and validation of integrated tests. Process automation will be achieved through software deployments via Job as a Code.
Qualifications
Required skills: Min 3y experience:
- Experience in technology-related projects
- High knowledge of SQL statements
- Experience in ETL design and data models
- Knowledge of Control-M and Job as Code
- Experience in testing and data validation
Language: English - professional competence
Desirable skills:
- Technical knowledge of programming languages (Scala) and Big Data technologies (Spark Scala, Databricks, Airflow)
- Experience in the banking sector
- Knowledge of financial products or market risk metrics

We are seeking a highly skilled and collaborative DevOps Engineer to promote engineering excellence through automation, collaboration, and standardization, accelerating software delivery and enhancing customer value.
This key role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines that ensure security, quality, and compliance across all software releases, while driving continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities

Implement and manage infrastructure on AWS using Terraform, Ansible, and Python, supporting cloud migrations and event-driven architectures with Kafka.
Containerization & Orchestration:
Deploy, manage, and optimize Kubernetes clusters and Docker-based environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and cost efficiency.
Testing as a Service (TaaS):
Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks that enable quality assurance and provide Testing as a Service for product teams across the organization.
Monitoring & Reliability:
Implement continuous monitoring, observability, and alerting systems to proactively detect issues, reduce downtime, and improve overall system reliability.
