Desde Hays estamos colaborando con una multinacional francesa que desarrolla soluciones digitales innovadoras para mejorar la atención médica y la calidad de vida de los pacientes en el hogar. Su misión es transformar el modelo de provisión de atención sanitaria a través de herramientas de analítica avanzada, inteligencia de negocio e Inteligencia Artificial.
Actualmente, buscan un perfil de Backend Tech Lead para asumir el liderazgo técnico de un equipo multidisciplinar e internacional.
¿Cuáles son los requisitos?
- Más de 4/5 años de experiencia en desarrollo backend, con un mínimo de 2 años en un rol de liderazgo técnico (Tech Lead, Senior Engineer o similar).
- Dominio experto de Python y su ecosistema para construir sistemas limpios, mantenibles y de alto rendimiento.
- Sólida experiencia diseñando e implementando aplicaciones en AWS (valorable en otro Cloud), especialmente con patrones serverless (Lambda, Fargate, SQS, SNS) y contenedores (ECS).
- Profundo conocimiento en bases de datos relacionales (PostgreSQL) y NoSQL (MongoDB), incluyendo modelado de datos, optimización de queries y gestión de migraciones.
- Experiencia demostrable construyendo APIs REST (FastAPI, Flask) y/o microservicios, aplicando principios de diseño claros.
- Pasión por la calidad del software, aplicando estrategias de testing avanzado (unitario, integración, contract testing) y utilizando herramientas de análisis estático (Mypy, Ruff, Bandit) y cobertura (SonarQube).
- Comunicación Bilingüe (Español/Inglés): Nivel profesional avanzado de inglés (mínimo B2). ¿Cuáles serán tus funciones?
- Liderar el diseño técnico de múltiples servicios backend, desde la concepción hasta la implementación, asegurando la cohesión y la visión a largo plazo.
- Definir y mantener altos estándares de calidad de código, promoviendo las mejores prácticas en testing, CI/CD y seguridad a través de code reviews, mentoring y automatización.
- Guiar y mentorizar a un talentoso equipo de desarrolladores, fomentando una cultura de colaboración, aprendizaje continuo y ownership técnico.
- Diseñar y evolucionar soluciones basadas en arquitecturas serverless y event-driven en AWS, optimizando el rendimiento, los costes y la resiliencia.
- Garantizar la observabilidad de nuestras plataformas, implementando logging estructurado, métricas clave y trazabilidad end-to-end para un troubleshooting eficaz.
- Gestionar activamente la deuda técnica, priorizando refactors y mejoras que aseguren la salud y sostenibilidad del ecosistema a largo plazo. ¿Qué ofrecemos?

The Opportunity:
We are seeking two Engineering Managers to lead their team's through people and technical leadership with a dedication to mentorship, knowledge sharing, cultivating belonging, and collaboration. These roles are open due to team splits (we want it to be a valuable experience for all!) and internal movement to exciting new roles. We'd love to learn about your background and interests, then align together on what team suits you best.
Teams:
- Customers: Provides customers the means to model and manage their customers, both in B2C and B2B scenarios.
- Developer Enablement: Building Software Development Kits (SDKs), Platform Insights, and API extensibility tools for commercetools developers.
- Search: Develops customer-facing search APIs for the purpose of product catalog discovery, using Scala and Elasticsearch.
- Responsible for the people and culture in your team:
- You are vital for making your team a better place by growing your people and investing in your team's health, motivation, career, culture, and team building
- You foster a culture of mutual constructive feedback and support in your team and that everyone feels safe to express their ideas and suggestions
- You conduct great 1-1 with your engineers
- Responsible for the delivery and the processes of your team:
- You are crucial for getting things rolling and ensuring a smooth delivery
- You are removing blockers and seeking process improvements collaboratively with your team and your Product Manager
- Champion our tech vision and consult the engineers accordingly
- Collaborative with Engineering Managers of other teams, Tech Leads, Agile Coaches, a People Business Partner, Head of Engineering, and the CTO
- Multiple years of experience as a manager of software engineers in a distributed product team
- An engineering background with ability to hands-on code
- Capable of hands-on coding where possible (e.g. review PRs, smaller tasks, pairing), software architecture, and system design
- Track record and passion for growing, coaching, and mentoring your team
- An excellent understanding of agile software development methodologies, best practices, and tools. You know their trade-offs and how they can support a smooth delivery of your team's goals
- Excellent communication skills and an empathetic and self-reflective mindset
- Fluent written and spoken English skills to work in an international environment
- Commitment to knowledge sharing and learning from everyone around you about leadership and new technologies
- Experience in the commerce industry
