Principales Responsabilidades
- Participar en el desarrollo y mantenimiento de microservicios utilizando Java y Spring Boot 3.
- Contribuir a la migración de sistemas a versiones recientes de Java (Java 21).
- Implementar sistemas de mensajería con tecnologías como Kafka, RabbitMQ y JMS.
- Desarrollar pruebas automatizadas utilizando JUnit y Cucumber, asegurando la calidad del código.
- Colaborar con equipos técnicos y de producto en un entorno ágil para la entrega continua de valor.
- Aportar en procesos de modernización e integración futura con servicios cloud (AWS).
Excluyentes:
- 2 a 3 años de experiencia en desarrollo backend con Java.
- Experiencia con Spring Boot en proyectos productivos.
- Conocimiento práctico en herramientas de mensajería como Kafka, RabbitMQ o JMS.
- Experiencia en pruebas automatizadas con JUnit y/o Cucumber.
- Nivel intermedio de inglés técnico (capacidad de lectura y participación básica en reuniones técnicas).
- Experiencia con Java 17 o superior, idealmente Java 21.
- Conocimiento o experiencia práctica en AWS, especialmente con Lambda y SQS.
- Familiaridad con metodologías ágiles (Scrum, Kanban).

What will you be doing as our new Process Engineer?
As a Process Engineer you will work in collaboration with the project design team to arrive at appropriate process solutions adopting the principles of optimised plant performance, use of standard designs and following @one engineering design standards.
Process design of Water/Wastewater Treatment Plants and/or sewerage/water systems that achieve the goals of Anglian Water in terms of customer, environment, and efficiency.
This will incorporate modelling results where required
Responsibility for the quality of their work and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the team
Ensures that the principles of process safety are incorporated in all designs including consideration of LOPA and DSEAR
Comply with POSWSH/POSWASTE
Collaborate with the design team to develop 3D models and solutions
Process calculations, hydraulics, unit processes, pump calcs, capacity calculations
Data sheets.
Technical bid analysis of 3rd party process equipment
Support the Process Discipline Head in the drive towards excellence in H&S, demonstrating applied knowledge & skills to produce safe designs to discharge your obligation according to CDM Regulations, standards and accepted codes of practice.
Ensure all technical work is undertaken to the correct standards & specifications.
Ensure the requirements of MAS are adhered to & offer challenge when applicable.
Be responsible for maintaining your own quality and consistency of all process engineering technical documents.
Work with the relevant lead team members to ensure that all technical deliverables are properly checked and approved.
Communicate effectively at all relevant levels to ensure that the need to deliver technical excellence is understood and implemented.
Escalate issues that may impact on time/cost/quality to the Technical Manager before they become problems or exceed agreed timescales.
Educated to degree level in water/wastewater process science/engineering related subject.
Experience of process engineering
Demonstrable experience in water/wastewater and biosolids treatment
Have a relevant postgraduate qualification such as CIWEM or a relevant MSc.
Member of a professional body
Advanced Level of English / ability to work in English
Willing to travel to UK on regular basis

¿Qué harás en esta posición?

1er mes | Onboarding
Nos sentaremos contigo para explicarte el negocio, presentarte al equipo, mostrarte cómo trabajamos, las herramientas qué utilizamos y ofrecerte todo lo que necesites en los primeros días de tu incorporación.
Nuestro equipo de tecnología te enseñará nuestro stack, conocerás a todos los miembros del equipo, todo el contexto necesario para entender el proyecto y el entorno en el que trabajarás.
Seguramente entres a mitad de algún sprint.
Arrancamos todos los días con una daily muy distendida de compañía a las 10am, para contar brevemente cómo avanzamos cada uno en nuestros proyectos, y posteriormente cada equipo asiste a sus dailies propias.
En este primer mes tanto tus compañeros de desarrollo como nuestros project managers te acompañarán y darán soporte con todo lo que necesites para el proyecto en el que vayas a trabajar.
Nos comunicamos principalmente por Discord, documentamos en Drive y Notion y utilizamos meets para las reuniones.
También solemos trabajar con Monday, Trello y Jira, en función del proyecto.
Durante los siguientes meses
A medida que te vayas familiarizando con el proyecto, el equipo y el stack, podrás ayudar a estimar las tareas y desarrollos que nos ayuden a priorizar el backlog proyecto.
Parte de los sprints contendrán trabajos de mejora para optimizar el rendimiento, refactorizar, eliminar legacy, evitar cuellos de botella y en definitiva mejorar la escalabilidad a futuro.
Fomentamos activamente que nuestros compañer@s aporten propuestas y que si tienen una idea la compartan sin miedo, ya sean mejoras para desarrollos existentes, como nuevas funcionalidades que puedan impactar de forma positiva en los proyectos en los que trabajarás.
Como comentábamos más arriba, valoramos la capacidad de trabajar en equipo, la buena comunicación, la calidad del software y las buenas prácticas.

¿Qué esperamos de ti?
Qué hayas trabajado al menos 4 años en entornos tecnológicos como Backend developer.
Actualmente Tenemos Distintos Proyectos Con Stacks Diversos, Te Queremos Conocer Si Tienes Experiencia Sólida Con Alguno De Los Siguientes Stacks
Backend
- Requerida experiencia en PHP8 con orientación a objetos y framework Symfony.
- En caso de no tener experiencia en Symfony, se valorará experiencia en Laravel o Slim.
- Deseable experiencia con NodeJS, TypeScript y NestJS.
- Experiencia en testing automático, tanto unitario como e2e (PHPUnit, Jest, Cypress...).
- Experiencia en Docker y el montaje de entornos de desarrollo.
- Experiencia en deploys automatizados.
- Gestión de servidores (AWS, Dedicated Servers...).
Capacidad para trabajar en equipo, así como para ayudar a otros compañer@s cuando lo necesiten.
Acostumbrado a trabajar con peer reviews, buenas prácticas y metodologías ágiles.

A vacancy for an Aerodynamics Engineer has arisen within Airbus Operations in Getafe Spain. The successful applicant will join the Aerodynamics IGACS department.

Responsibilities of the job holder
As an Aerodynamic engineer, you will be contributing directly to generating models representing aerodynamics for customers in aircraft loads, aircraft performance and handling qualities. This can involve activities from the early design stage, including application of numerical tools, update and validate design and data through wind-tunnel testing and flight-test.

As part of a highly collaborative and transnational team, you will:
- Deliver aerodynamic models and data for aircraft performance, handling qualities and loads assessments.
- Contribute to and define future aerodynamic processes and technologies to keep Airbus at the forefront of innovation.
- Collaborate across transnational project teams and disciplines to secure multi-disciplinary design solutions meeting customer requirements while delivering on time, cost and quality.
- Provide aerodynamic support to manufacturing plants and airlines.
- You hold a Masters degree in Aeronautical Engineering, with a specialisation in Aerodynamics.
- First experience in aerodynamic numerical simulations/Computational Fluid Dynamics, wind tunnel test or flight test.
- Knowledge of CFD (CAD, meshing, turbulence models, limitations) would be an advantage.
- Good working knowledge of a programming language (preferably Python).
- Familiarity with data science (machine learning and artificial intelligence) would be an advantage.
- Able to take decisions, communicate and influence effectively, and build trustful relationships.
- Aptitude for complex problem solving and innovation.
- Team oriented empowered mindset with strong customer focus.
- You are autonomous, curious, proactive, rigorous, with great attention to detail.
- Fluency in English is mandatory, Spanish is a plus.

As a Data Scientist – Insights, you will be a key player in shaping the future of our product and driving our strategy forward. Embedded within the Self-Learning squad, you’ll help launch and position a new AI-based speaking exercise. You’ll provide insights to drive innovation, boost adoption and engagement, and help learners build confidence outside the classroom. Your work will shape how Preply evolves its self-learning experience, enabling learners to progress independently while reinforcing tutors’ role in their journey. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, tech leads, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver insights that guide those strategic decisions.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop a deep understanding of our classroom experience and user behaviors, from user flows and audio/video performance to usage of collaboration tools and lesson materials.
- Design and analyze A/B tests to validate product improvements (e.g., new UI changes, feature enhancements), quantifying their impact on key metrics such as adoption, user satisfaction, and retention.
- Help define tracking events and engagement metrics that align with business goals and product improvements.
- Investigate user pain points and propose data-driven solutions that address them.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product managers, engineers, designers) to translate business and product questions into meaningful analyses, clear dashboards, and actionable recommendations.
- Communicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring data informs strategic decisions and prioritization.
- Contribute to our data culture by sharing best practices, supporting data-driven experimentation, and continuously seeking ways to improve our data stack and processes.
- Experience in data analytics (+5 years) working with product teams, experimenting and uncovering opportunities for product optimization.
- Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests with a solid grasp of relevant statistical concepts.
- Good understanding of data analysis concepts such as conversion, LTV, cohort analysis, retention, etc.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python), with the ability to write efficient and scalable code.
- Curiosity, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, as well as the ability to proactively identify and address challenges.
- Ability to craft compelling stories with data and communicate complex insights in a clear and engaging way, driving change among diverse stakeholders.
- Team spirit and an eagerness to collaborate across product, engineering, design, and other data teams.
- Background in 2-sided marketplaces or digital businesses (B2B, B2C, B2B2C).
- Experience with product analytics tools (e.g. Amplitude, Mixpanel, Heap).
