Are you experienced in Critical Infrastructure Commissioning? As a Data Center Commissioning Engineer (CxE), you will be part of highly creative, efficient team tasked with tackling fascinating and challenging problems building and supporting the operations of AWS owned data centres, and Colocation facilities . The AWS Commissioning team (ACx) understands, evaluates, defines and manages the expectations of construction quality in accordance to engineering designs to meet the customer requirements.

- Medium and low voltage power systems

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experience in industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including but not limited to: data centers, power generation or oil and gas facilities
- Experience researching new designs, technologies, and construction methods of data center equipment and facilities
- Experience in commissioning
- Professional Engineer License
- Experience with building codes and regulations for your region
- Experience carrying design concepts through exploration, development, and into deployment or mass production
- Experience reading, interpreting, and creating construction drawings, specifications, and submittal documents

What you will be doing
Solar Design Analyst
: Analyzing and designing cutting-edge PV systems, analysing electrical layouts, wiring diagrams, and specifications that guarantee peak performance and adhere to the highest safety standards.
Site Scout & Strategist
: Visiting sites to assess feasibility, determine optimal panel placement, and size the systems perfectly based on client energy needs and environmental factors.
Fault Finder & Optimiser
: Diving into system performance data (on-site and remote) to identify issues, troubleshoot faults, and implement corrective actions that maximize energy output and ensure reliable, long-term operation.
Installation Co-Pilot
: Working hand-in-hand with project managers and contractors, overseeing the installation process, and officially commissioning new solar and energy storage systems.
Future-Proofing
: Researching the newest trends and technologies in solar and storage (think BESS!), helping us continuously improve our designs and processes.
Documentation Keeper
: Preparing essential technical reports and keeping all system documentation flawless and up-to-date.
What you need to bring
Education
: A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
Core Knowledge
: Knowledge about the design, installation, and maintenance of commercial solar electric systems, including strong knowledge of industry standards.
Software Skills
: Knowledge about industry-standard design tools like PVsyst and PV Sol.
Bonus Power-Up
: Experience with energy storage systems (batteries, inverters) and hybrid setups, PRL course, works on heights course, elevator platform license and drone piloting license are a huge plus!
Essential Skills
: Work ethics is key! Excellent problem-solving abilities, an incredible eye for detail, and the ability to manage your work independently while collaborating seamlessly with a team.
Driver's License
Category B is mandatory.
