In ARQUIMEA AEROSPACE DEFENCE & SECURITY develops safer and more reliable defense systems through technology, including unmanned aerial systems (UAVs), sensing systems, command and control software, and aiming systems.
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with the mission in developing and researching defense systems, from the preliminary phase to industrialization.
Tasks To Be Performed
- Requirements management
- Mechanical design and creation of manufacturing drawings
- Bill of materials (BOM) and checklist oversight
- Selection of commercial components
- Development of design documentation
- Supplier relationships management
- Supervision of manufacturing, assembly and commissioning
- Creation of test plans, assistance and supervision of system tests
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical engineering, Industrial engineering, Aeronautics or similar.
- Master's degree in mechanics, robotics, materials or similar is valuable.
- Minimum experience 5 years.
- Solidworks or other similar CAD programs.
- Knowledge of ANSYS is valued.
- Knowledge of Composite Materials.
- Design of flight parts.
- Knowledge and experience in finite element calculations is valued.
- Knowledge of electronics and use of equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc. will be valued.
- Knowledge of project management will be valued.
- Experience in configuration management, PLM will be valued.
- Knowledge of the defense sector and defense regulations for design and testing MIL-STD, STANAG will be valued.
- Microsoft Project.
- Advanced english (B2).
