What You Do
- Lead the design and implementation of cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS, Azure, GCP to meet business requirements.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
- Implement and manage cloud services from serverless, over containers to “classical” IaaS.
- Ensure adherence to security best practices and compliance requirements.
- Lead, mentor, and coach project teams of engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure and operational procedures.
- Stay abreast of the latest cloud technologies and trends, evaluating and recommending new solutions to improve efficiency and performance.
- Drive innovation and automation within the infrastructure team, promoting the adoption of best practices and cutting-edge tools.
- Proven experience as an Infrastructure Tech Lead or Cloud Engineer with a strong understanding of cloud architecture and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud providers AWS, Azure, GCP.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless computing.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VPN, DNS) and security best practices.
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation and configuration management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Relevant cloud certifications e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect are a plus.
