As a Scrum Master your primary responsibility is to facilitate and support the successful implementation of Scrum practices within digital data practice. You are analytical, creative, and collaborative. You have keen attention to detail and take the time to understand our stakeholders’ data needs and challenges. You enable and empower the Scrum team to deliver high-quality products by fostering an Agile mindset and facilitating Agile practices. Main Responsibilities
- Facilitate Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with data governance teams, IT, legal, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with data governance activities and compliance requirements.
- Data Governance Process Integration: Ensure that Scrum practices are integrated into data governance processes, enhancing data quality, integrity, and compliance across the organization.
- Global Team Coordination: Coordinate with global teams to implement data governance frameworks, ensuring consistency and adherence to industry standards and regulations.
- Risk Management and Compliance: Identify and mitigate risks related to data governance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements such as GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Support the use of data analytics tools to inform decision-making processes within the data governance team.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with stakeholders across different regions, ensuring they are informed about data governance initiatives and progress.
- Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team, encouraging experimentation with new processes and practices to enhance data governance outcomes.
- Facilitate Scrum Ceremonies: Conduct Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives to ensure smooth team operations.
- Scrum Principles and Values: Ensure the team understands and adheres to Scrum principles and values.
- Agile and Scrum Coaching: Coach team members and the organization on Agile and Scrum practices.
- Impediment Removal: Identify and remove impediments, taking accountability for early risk identification and mitigation.
- Product Backlog Management: Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain a well-defined, prioritized product backlog.
- Team Progress Monitoring: Track team progress using metrics like velocity, burndown charts, and team health.
- Data-Driven Improvement: Use data to identify areas for improvement and track team performance.
- Conflict Resolution: Address conflicts within the team or with external stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Communication: Ensure stakeholders are informed about team progress and potential roadblocks.
- Expectation Management: Help manage stakeholder expectations and feedback.
- Scrum Best Practices: Stay updated with Scrum and Agile best practices and continuously improve Scrum Master skills.
- Scrum Framework Adherence: Ensure the team follows Scrum framework rules and principles.
- Retrospective Facilitation: Facilitate retrospectives to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans.
- Process Experimentation: Encourage the team to experiment with new processes and practices.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with data governance teams, IT, legal, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with data governance activities and compliance requirements.

- Budgeting & Vendor Contract Management: Lead the budget management discussions along with the PLO and proactively enter the budget in the budgeting tools, navigate the vendor contracts by working with the procurement team and by taking key inputs on the requirements from the DG capability leads (or POs)
- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with stakeholders across different pillars (GBUs/GFs), ensuring they are informed about data governance initiatives and progress.
- Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team, encouraging experimentation with new processes and practices to enhance data governance outcomes.
Key Functional Requirements & Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of Scrum principles and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile role is typically required.
- Scrum Master certification (e.g., Certified Scrum Master) is preferred.
- Competent with Project Management Tools (JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow)

¿Cómo te imaginamos?
- Ser referente en la implantación y madurez del marco Scrum dentro del equipo.
- Facilitar ceremonias ágiles: dailies, sprint plannings, reviews, retrospectives.
- Eliminar impedimentos que bloqueen al equipo y promover la mejora continua.
- Fomentar la colaboración entre roles técnicos y de negocio.
- Medir y reportar el progreso del equipo usando métricas ágiles (velocity, burndown, etc.).
- Ser un puente entre el equipo de desarrollo, los Product Owners y stakeholders.
- Promover una cultura ágil basada en transparencia, responsabilidad y autonomía.
- Acompañar a varios equipos (si aplica) garantizando prácticas ágiles escalables.
- 3–5 años de experiencia como Scrum Master en entornos ágiles.
- Conocimiento profundo del marco Scrum y metodologías ágiles (Kanban, SAFe, LeSS...).
- Experiencia facilitando equipos técnicos en proyectos de software o productos digitales.
- Habilidades sólidas de comunicación, liderazgo y resolución de conflictos.
- Dominio de herramientas ágiles como Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps o similares.
- Nivel de inglés intermedio-alto (mínimo B2).
- Capacidad para trabajar en entornos dinámicos y multiculturales.
- Certificaciones: PSM I/II, CSM, SAFe, u otras.
- Conocimientos básicos de ciclo de vida del desarrollo de software (DevOps, testing, CI/CD).
- Experiencia en proyectos IoT o en empresas tecnológicas de producto.
- Mentalidad de coaching y formación a equipos en prácticas ágiles.

*Responsibilities:*
* Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on healing and problem-solving.
* Lead all Scrum related ceremonies, including: daily standup, backlog refinement sessions, sprint retrospectives, and sprint planning ceremonies
* Guide, coach, empower the team, facilitating discussions, decision making, conflict resolution, and delivery of committed work goals
* Support the Product Owner maintaining the product strategy/roadmap through story mapping, Behavior Driven Development (BDD), Gherkin Features and other Agile activities
* Provide leadership in identifying iterative process improvements and methods to streamline adoption of Agile methodologies.
* Take initiative and act as a leader to foster collaboration and communication between Scrum teams and team members on technical issues, on process improvements, and support solicitation of input and feedback from stakeholders and users after each Sprint.

*What We´re Looking For*
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

* Eagerness to act as a mentor and lead other developers of less experience.
* Ability to coordinate with both external and internal teams.
* Experience with different estimation techniques and engaging daily stand-up and retrospectives ceremonies.
* Excellent communication skills including excellent English language skills, solid writing skills and solid people skills.
* Scrum Master Certification A-CSM, CSP-SM, or PSM is a plus.
* Experience in Jira is a plus.
* Additional experience with large scale integration projects preferred.
* Technical background as developer or QA is a plus.
