- Participar en el desarrollo y mantenimiento de aplicaciones web en PHP.

Requisitos:
- Experiencia demostrable en desarrollo PHP (mínimo 2 años).
- Conocimientos sólidos en frameworks como Laravel, Symfony o similares.
- Familiaridad con bases de datos MySQL/PostgreSQL.
- Experiencia con HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Capacidad para trabajar en equipo y aportar ideas.
- Se valorará conocimiento en Docker, Git, CI/CD. 🎯

We are Bihar Batteries, a new-generation battery startup based in San Sebastian. We are building sodium-ion storage systems, a critical technology that gives people, businesses, and communities control over their energy.

Unlike lithium-ion, our sodium-ion technology is made with locally abundant raw materials like salt. This means no critical supply chains, and a hopeful path towards energy independence in Europe.

This technology is at the heart of our product: a modular battery system that can power everything from off-grid mountain refuges to industrial companies and regions.

🙋 What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a Product Engineer to develop our battery system towards commercialization. We want you to be part of the entire design process, to interact with the partners who will manufacture it, and to learn from the clients that will use it.

As one of our first employees, we are looking for a curious and proactive ‘builder’ that is motivated with the challenge of joining an early stage company like Bihar.

We want you to feel that Bihar’s product is your product, and to be part of the company’s growth from a small group of individuals to an organization with international ambition.

🎯 What we Need

• Degree on industrial design, mechanical engineer or similar + sensibility for good design.
• A “builder” mindset: you like sketching, 3D modeling, prototyping, testing, and iterating.
• Strong CAD skills (Rhino, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar).
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes (sheet metal, plastics, assembly) and certification.
• Ability to work with electrical and electronic components.
• Enjoying working in a startup: hands-on, proactive, flexible.
• Ability to work fluently in Spanish and English.
• Based in San Sebastian or willingness to spend significant time in the city (hybrid position).

• Designing our battery system, including internal architecture and enclosures.
• 3D modeling, prototyping and testing the product.
• Challenging existing products in the market to create exciting new product features.
• Interacting with clients to inform the product development and ensure good user experience.
• Managing relationship with suppliers and product manufacturers.
• Assisting with product management and certification.
• Hiring and mentoring new teammates as we grow.
• Collaborating with partners to ensure products are functional, robust, and visually compelling.

EMPRESA Y MISIÓN:

Reportando al responsable del equipo como ingenier@ de producto en empresa ubicada en Tolosa. La misión del puesto es desarrollar el conocimiento del producto para incrementar el valor añadido aportado al cliente. Se trata de una empresa del sector ferroviario.

FUNCIONES:
-Conocimiento de PLCs (entender el lenguaje), HMIs. Análisis/chequeo de tarjetas electrónicas, convertidores para realizar reparaciones.- A nivel de electrónica: carga de Software en equipos, sacar la información y realizar el análisis para las posibles reparaciones.- Dar soporte a customer service en cuanto se requiera. Colaborar técnicamente en la generación de nuevas propuestas a cliente.-Resolución de dudas técnicas que surjan en la operativa diaria (producto, planos, fabricación). -Participar en la elaboración de licitaciones. Asistir a visitas a cliente/proveedor par dar soporte.-Gestionar la homologación de componentes. Definir propuestas de materiales necesarios para mantenimiento preventivo.

PERFIL: Buscamos un perfil con formación en FP con al menos 3 años de experiencia en funciones similares en empresas del sector ferroviario/automoción/industrial. Buscamos a una persona con inglés nivel B2 a nivel de documentación. El candidato/a ideal será una persona polivalente, que muestre actitud y ganas por seguir aprendiendo día tras día dentro del departamento de ingeniería.
