We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our newly formed Data & AI engineering Team at Betsson Group. You’ll build and grow a high performing team, promote Betsson Culture and Principles, Implement Engineering best Practices, ensuring the quality of the delivery and the efficiency of the team to deliver high-performing services used by millions of players. 

This is an opportunity to work with bleeding edge technology, lead high performing professionals and build the next generation Data & AI products. 

As a senior leader voice in the area, your focus will be focus on our most important asset – Our People !!! You’ll promote Betsson culture and principles, continual improvement, and develop and grow people to reach their full potential. 

You will work closely with your product and design counterparts on the planning and scoping of the product development roadmap, ensuring the quality of delivery, business continuity, monitoring, and performance while raising engineering practices, for agility and speed, including the adoption of AI on software development life cycle. 

• Proven experience on leading product centric high-performing Data & AI engineering teams
• Strong background in Data or AI Engineering
• Experience on managing using KPIs and OKRs and knowledge on DORA or SPACE Frameworks
• Experience in engineer recruitment, onboarding and career development.
• Experience on Agile transformation and implementation of agile best practices
• Experience mentoring or leading engineers in a technical capacity 

Our Tech Stack  

Our systems are built using AWS Services, like SageMaker, Bedrock, EMR, MKS, Data Zone, orchestrated with Airflow and Glue. We rely on Kafka for messaging and events, and use a mix S3, Apache Iceberg and Snowflake for data storage.
