About The Job
Based at Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca, within the hotel's Purchasing Department, as Purchasing Supervisor you will assist the Director of Purchasing in overseeing the hotel’s business control related to Procurement Management. The position will also collaborate with and advise hotel departments on all matters related to purchasing management.
As Purchasing supervisor, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Procurement Management:
- Assist in the development of the purchasing system.
- Comply with and enforce the procurement policy established by the Director of Purchasing.
- Ensure compliance with MOHG’s purchasing policies and procedures.
- Guarantee the use of the most competitive supplier quotations that meet MOMAL specifications.
- Enforce the quality criteria required by MOMAL, following the requested standards.
- Prepare and review Purchase Orders.
- Document Management:
- Oversee the document control of the procurement department.
- Supervise the archiving and document management of the purchasing and warehouse departments.
- Periodically update supplier records.
- Manage the purchase of PPE together with the P&C department, archive technical data sheets, and share them with relevant departments.
- Supplier Management:
- Monitor new suppliers, ensuring proper document management.
- Update, review, and archive supplier documentation and product data sheets.
- Assist in supplier audits, ensuring compliance with established policies.
- Collaborate in supplier evaluation alongside department leaders.
- Procurement and Warehouse Supervision:
- Support the supervision of the purchasing department, goods reception, warehouses, and logistics.
- Monitor compliance with purchasing policies across all hotel departments
- Previous experience in purchasing within the luxury hospitality sector, ideally in Mallorca or with knowledge of the Balearic market.
- Strong skills in supplier management, purchase requests, and order follow-up.
- Analytical mindset with cost control and negotiation abilities.
- Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented profile.
- Solid knowledge of databases and Excel; experience with systems like Moreton or BirchStreet is highly valued.
- Intermediate level of English.
- A valid work permit for Spain is required.

About The Job
Based at Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca, as the Reservations Agent, you will be responsible for handling basic operations of the department, mainly reservations that come in various forms such as telephone, facsimile, GDS and LHW, etc.; Fidelio / Delphi data input and preparation of various reports.
As Reservations Agent, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Handle incoming reservation inquiries and bookings via telephone with professionalism, clarity, and a guest-oriented approach.
- Accurately input reservation details into the Property Management System (PMS) following the standards outlined in the PMS operational manual.
- Ensure clear and timely communication with key departments such as Credit, Sales, Concierge, Housekeeping, Front Desk, and others, sharing relevant reservation information to support seamless operations.
- Prepare and update the daily on-the-books reports.
- Generate a summary of reservations made the previous day for review by the Reservations Manager.
- Create same-day and 10-day forward cancellation reports.
- Compile a daily report of modifications to reservations made the previous day.
- Retrieve and process reservation data from external systems including LHW and TSR.
- Respond promptly and accurately to TSR requests and ensure proper input of TSR reservations into the PMS.
- Access, review, and maintain previous guest correspondence as needed.
- File and organize updated correspondence in an orderly and retrievable manner.
- Review and action the daily trace report, ensuring all follow-ups and guest requests are handled in a timely manner.
- Support the Reservations team with any additional tasks or reasonable duties assigned by the department to ensure the smooth operation of the office.
Experience and education
- Completion of secondary education is required.
- Previous experience in a reservations, administrative, or guest service role within the luxury hospitality industry is highly desirable.
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency with reservation systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Solid administrative and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident handling of multiple tasks and the ability to remain composed under pressure.
- Proactive, reliable, and meticulous, with a structured and tidy working style.

Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Country Manager located in Spain, with home working flexibility. The Country Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations, ensure adherence to risk management protocols, manage audit processes, team leadership, and client relationship management. Responsibilities include developing and implementing business strategies, leading the growth of the business in Spain and Portugal, monitoring and taking ownership of financial performance, and ensuring customer satisfaction through quality assurance services.
