We’re seeking a hands-on Product Manager to join our Product Journeys team within Kraken, delivering an industry-leading experience for our clients.
You’ll tackle complex challenges and create products that enable our customers to easily change tariffs for their supply points. This is an essential capability for the retail energy sector, where we’re looking to further empower our clients to deal with compliance and exception handling across the world.
Long term, you and the team will participate in redefining Journeys as a whole for Kraken Customer (alongside two other Journey teams) and challenge the expectations with which they’ve been built thus far.
There are currently 5 developers in the team, as well as a tech lead and interim PM; they are spread between European and Japanese timezones.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: You’ll gather requirements and translate them into tasks for developers, ensuring smooth collaboration with designers, developers, and stakeholding teams
- Help the team achieve business impact: Discover the outcomes and opportunities that the team can influence; translate them into a data-driven prioritization process
- Manage and prioritise needs: Work closely with stakeholders and developers to align requirements with the team’s broader strategy. You’ll help scope out new features, plan iterations and drive product development that maximises customer value
- Drive innovation: Think strategically about client-facing tools, helping empower users through self-service features and continuously improving their experience
- Own the process: From gathering feedback to reporting on project progress, you’ll be responsible for the full product lifecycle, driving high-impact initiatives that support our mission
- Adapt and solve problems: In a fast-paced environment, you’ll be expected to make quick decisions, recognizing what needs attention now and what can wait, while ensuring long-term success
- Passion for customers: You care deeply about delivering exceptional experiences to end users and are driven to make a positive impact on their lives. You have excellent customer interviews / experiments skills
- Be data-informed: You’re able to draw on complex reports to make better informed decisions for your products. Skills with a data analytics language would be a big plus
- Communication excellence and team player: You’re a natural communicator, able to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams; as well as work with global teams spread all over the world. Fluency in English is required
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills, with the ability to balance many competing demands and influence decision-making at all levels of the organisation; and keeping communications transparent all the way through
- Strategic and hands-on thinking: Whether it's working on a high-level product strategy or rolling up your sleeves to execute a feature, you’re adaptable and thrive in a dynamic environment
- Technological curiosity: While deep technical knowledge isn’t essential, familiarity with development processes and tools like Asana, Notion, Miro will help you to hit the ground running
- Energy sector insight: While not mandatory, prior experience in the energy industry would be a great advantage

🎯 Serás responsable de…
- Comprender a profundidad nuestro negocio, nuestros clientes, el mercado y los datos de nuestro producto para ofrecer soluciones de valor y alcanzar los objetivos de Imperia.
- Ser responsable de priorizar y gestionar el backlog en Jira, equilibrando nuevas funcionalidades, mejoras técnicas y deuda tecnológica.
- Mantener un backlog claro y alineado con los objetivos de negocio, asegurando que todas las historias estén listas antes de cada sprint.
- Redactar requisitos de producto detallados y claros, colaborar con diseño e ingeniería para entregar funcionalidades de alta calidad e iterar tras el lanzamiento.
- Investigar y analizar las necesidades de los usuarios para detectar oportunidades y orientar las decisiones de producto.
- Comunicar y colaborar con stakeholders y diferentes departamentos: Ingeniería, Diseño, Investigación de Usuarios, Marketing, Ventas, Atención al Cliente y más.

As a Designer:

- First quarter: Within the first three months, you will start diagnosing problems that our user support team cannot directly handle. Seeking quick fixes and lasting solutions alongside the development team.
- To the moon: After this process, you will become an active member of the team. You will also understand how to achieve goals and set your own strategies based on company goals.
- Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer or similar role.
- Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to bridge the gap between design and development.
- Experience with user research methods and usability testing.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
