BASIC FUNCTIONS:
The Brand Manager will be a key participant in all aspects of CND brand management, leading programs and initiatives on his/her own. Projects will include brand strategy and positioning, marketing plan development/ execution, agency management, media campaign execution, diffusion of new products. This role also includes significant analysis of sales and industry data, as well as budgeting and tracking.
The ideal candidate must be a self-starter and willing to work in a very fast paced and dynamic business environment.
MAJOR DUTIES:
COMMUNICATION
- Executing annual marketing plans across all platforms (multi-media, marketing/sales materials, digital, trade shows, education and promotions)
- Work closely with Sales and Manager to recommend and execute effective promotional programs
- Assist in executing new product launch plans and programs
- Work with internal/external design resources to develop sales/product communication materials (toolkits, etc)
- Represent global parties and assist execution of their marketing plans
- Advise to distributors and work in collaboration with the distributors on their marketing strategy execution
ANALYSIS
- Track brand support spending and monitor budget compliance
- Work with managers to forecast product demand and manage inventory levels
- Generate, present, and apply insights from monthly business analysis (category, competitor, customer)
- Assist in executing Slim/Squeeze strategies
- Uncover category, competitive, and consumer insights and recommend appropriate course of action
- Gather and update product portfolio and pricing information on all competitors
- Analise and set up pricing for CND portfolio
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
- Attend interdepartmental meetings to document progress and individual commitments
- Attend Sales Meetings, focus groups and Industry Events in order to broaden exposure and learn the industry
- Initiate and track product/ project start forms/systems
- Set up and manage new products, promotions, product updates, art work changes;
- Assist Manager/Director in development, and launch of global brand initiatives
- Execute promotional programs/brand projects to deliver on strategy, on time and within budget
- Maintain and monitor project timelines and follow up with cross-functional team members on an ongoing basis
- Maintain and coordinate distributor mailings and sampling/PR program
EVENT MANAGEMENT
- Plan, coordinate and execute education, marketing and sales events
- Singular point of contact for CND International events internal and external
- Manage event negotiations and budget
- Provide ideas and innovation for meeting locations, themes, activities

Introduction To The Vacant Position
The Moleular Imaging for Precision Medicine (MIPMED) is looking for a laboratory technician to support the daily lab upkeep tasks and to assist the ongoing research projects of the group. The contract will be within the framework of the ERC Starting Grant project “Lifetime Metabolomics for Paediatric Liver Cancer Detection and Therapy Assessment Using Organ-on-Chip Platforms (LIFETIME)”.
The ideal candidate will have a background in biochemistry or a related field, with significant experience in managing laboratory environments. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary and international teams, and a commitment to supporting scientific research.
Our group develops hyperpolarized NMR/MRSI tools to study cellular metabolism in vitro and in vivo, with particular interest in organ-on-chip platforms and microfluidic devices.
Main Tasks And Responsibilities
- General lab upkeep.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Provide technical support and training to researchers on the use of biochemistry equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to laboratory instruments and procedures.
- Managing lab inventory, incl. ordering and receiving supplies and reagents.
- Support the other team members with their research.
- Conduct lab tests, record results and assist in the development of experimental protocols.
- Ensure proper waste disposal and adherence to environmental health and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of laboratory activities, equipment maintenance, and inventory.
- Prepare and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety manuals.

Introduction To The Vacant Position
The Nonlinear Photonics for Neuroscience (NPN) group is seeking a talented and innovative Computer Science Technician to lead the development of robust data management systems, acquisition protocols, and advanced analysis pipelines critical for neuroscience research.
The NPN group is dedicated to advancing state-of-the-art microscopy techniques, allowing for high-precision imaging and manipulation of neuronal activity. As part of this new interdisciplinary team at IBEC, the successful candidate will work at the intersection of neuroscience, photonics, and computational science, developing optimized software strategies to interface and synchronize complex hardware systems for data acquisition as well as dedicated analysis pipelines to treat the large datasets produced. The candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficiency of data storage, backup, and analysis, thus helping the NPN team deciphering the complexities of brain activity. The contract will be within the framework of the 2P-BRAINSCOPY ERC-Starting grant, whose objective is the development of advance optical techniques for the study of the brain.
Main Tasks And Responsibilities
- Pipeline Development: Design and implement robust, scalable data acquisition, storage, and backup solutions, optimizing for large image datasets and high-throughput analysis.
- Device Interface Optimization: Develop and enhance a unified Python (or LabVIEW) interface to control and synchronize various high-tech devices (e.g., lasers, scanners, detectors, spatial light modulators) used to capture images of neuronal activity.
- Custom Hardware Communication: Customize and optimize device-specific interfaces to enable seamless, rapid communication with complex hardware systems.
- Data Sharing & Backup: Create automated backup solutions and establish a platform for remote data access and sharing, enabling wider dissemination of results within the scientific community, including the creation of public data repositories post-publication.
- Data Analysis: Refine Python-based data analysis pipelines to extract functional data from neuronal images (i.e. the activity of neurons), ensuring the highest levels of accuracy and performance.
- Team Expertise & Support: Serve as the NPN group’s go-to expert for all software development, data handling, and hardware interface-related inquiries, collaborating closely with photonics experts and neuroscientists to translate research needs into practical technical solutions.
Requirements for candidates:
- Educational Background: A degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Technical Expertise: Proven experience in software development (Python or LabVIEW), especially in data-heavy environments.

As Unilabs Facilities Manager you will lead the development and execution of long-term facility management (FM) strategies, encompassing preventative maintenance, building lifecycle management and space optimisation and work with the country teams to implement change across an international portfolio. - Assume full accountability for the international region facilities operating budget. Partner with finance through the budget planning cycle and also management against the annual budget seeking cost efficiencies without a detrimental impact on service levels
- Partner with key contacts in the countries to share best practice, leverage resource and deploy best in class technology. Use analytics from data and metrics across the global portfolio to drive service delivery improvements and efficiency
- Lead sustainability and energy management initiatives to reduce emissions and energy use in accordance with corporate goals and work with key stakeholders to develop Unilabs Sustainability Statement and lead practices and initiatives
- Act as technical FM expert for Unilabs and drive a culture of collaboration, ownership and transparency. Foster continuous learning and professional excellence
- Work with the Global Head of Real Estate to identify key CAPEX requirements and lead the planning and execution of short and long-term facilities projects and contracts, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives
- In partnership with the markets, deliver key facilities projects providing significant improvement to the employee experience, increase productivity and yield corporate wide savings
- Demonstrable track record at a senior-level of delivering FM services across a large multi-site organisation, preferably in the healthcare sector with a European portfolio
- Proven track record of managing multiple stakeholders, ensuring all parties are aligned and working towards operational excellence
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
- Dynamic, professional and resilient with a hands on approach
- Strong financial and analytical skills, good commercial acumen and an understanding of business and finance
- Good understanding of effective corporate real estate management strategies
- Skilled negotiator, problem solver and team player
- Ability to work with a broad range of individuals at varying levels, both internal and external
Qualifications:
- Degree in building, engineering or construction - minimum 15 years PQE
- Membership of a professional body (BIFM, MCIOB, MRICS, IFMA or equivalent)
