About The Position

As Station Manager based in Gran Canaria (LPA), you will report to the Ground Operations Manager in Copenhagen and be responsible for ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations at one of Sunclass Airlines' most important destinations. During the winter season, your primary focus will be the LPA operation, while in the summer season you will support central Ground Operations initiatives and other stations across our network.

The role also includes conducting station visits, audits, inspections, and supervision activities across Spain and Greece, as well as supporting the training and development of ground handling partners to ensure compliance with operational and safety requirements.

You will contribute to an ongoing LEAN project, supplier performance management, contract follow-up, and continuous improvement initiatives across the Ground Operations network. During periods of absence, you will also serve as Branch Manager, supporting staff-related, budgetary, and legal matters.

Must Haves

Who we are looking for

• Resident in Spain
• Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong understanding of aviation safety, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience working with suppliers, ground handling agents, or other operational stakeholders.
• Good financial understanding, including budgeting and cost awareness
  
  

Preferred

• Knowledge of one or more Nordic languages.
• Experience in leadership, coordination, or station management role.
• Experience with supplier management, contract administration, or negotiations.
