¿Qué buscamos en ti?
- +3 años de experiencia en entornos DevOps.
- Conocimiento profundo en Github Actions: desarrollo de workflows y acciones personalizadas.
- Experiencia sólida con Jenkins Pipelines (Groovy/Jenkins Library, Cloudbees CI).
- Dominio en CI/CD, control de versiones (Git) y plataformas DevOps.
- Experiencia con herramientas como SonarQube, Artifactory, Bitbucket, Jira.
- Programación y scripting en Python, desarrollo con Flask y otros frameworks de referencia.
- Experiencia en automatizaciones con SDK Google y Atlassian Jira Datacenter.
- Conocimiento y experiencia en entornos Agile.
Valorables: experiencia en cloud, contenedores y certificaciones DevOps, CI/CD o Cloud.
Entre tus funciones:
-Diseñar, implementar y mantener pipelines de integración y despliegue continuo en Github Actions y Jenkins (Groovy/Jenkins Library, Cloudbees CI).
- Desarrollar acciones personalizadas en Github Actions y optimizar flujos de automatización.
- Administrar y dar soporte a la plataforma Github Enterprise y otras herramientas DevOps.
- Integrar y gestionar herramientas de calidad de código, repositorios y gestión de artefactos (SonarQube, Artifactory, Bitbucket, Jira).
- Colaborar con equipos de desarrollo bajo metodologías Agile/Scrum, asegurando entregas rápidas y de calidad.
- Desarrollar scripts y automatizaciones en Python, con frameworks como Flask y librerías nativas.
- Trabajar con SDKs de Google y la plataforma Atlassian Jira Datacenter.
- Proponer mejoras continuas en la arquitectura DevOps, escalabilidad y seguridad de los entornos.

Ebury´s strategic growth plan would not be possible without our Data team and we are seeking a Staff Data Engineer to join our Data Engineering team!
Our data mission is to develop and maintain Ebury´s Data Platform and serve it to the whole company, where Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Analytics Engineers and Data Analysts work collaboratively.
As a Staff Data Engineer, you will work closely with the rest of the team to help model and maintain the Data Platform.

Responsibilities:
- Be mentored by one of our outstanding performance team member along a 30/60/90 plan designed only for you
- Participate in data modelling reviews and discussions to validate the model´s accuracy, completeness, and alignment with business objectives.
- Design, develop, deploy and maintain ELT/ETL data pipelines from a variety of data sources (transactional databases, REST APIs, file-based endpoints).
- Serve hands-on delivery of data models using solid software engineering practices (eg. version control, testing, CI/CD)
- Manage overall pipeline orchestration using Airflow (hosted in Cloud Composer), as well as execution using GCP hosted services such as Container Registry, Artifact Registry, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, and GKE.
- Work on reducing technical debt by addressing code that is outdated, inefficient, or no longer aligned with best practices or business needs.
- Collaborate with team members to reinforce best practices across the platform, encouraging a shared commitment to quality.
- Help to implement data governance policies, including data quality standards, data access control, and data classification.
- Identify opportunities to optimise and refine existing processes.
About you:
- 8-12+ years of data/analytics engineering experience building, maintaining & optimising data pipelines & ETL processes on big data environments
- Proficiency in Python and SQL
- Knowledge of software engineering practices in data (SDLC, RFC...)
- Stay informed about the latest developments and industry standards in Data
- Fluency in English
- Experience with our modern Data stack tools is a plus
- Dimensional modelling/data warehousing concepts knowledge is a plus
- Spanish speaking skills is a plus

The Opportunity:
We are looking for a professional with a strong technical background in data integration (ETL / Pipeline), and expertise in Pyspark and Spark.
In this position you will lead the project team in a BI project, manage a team, mitigate risks, manage and control project KPIs, manage scope changes and lead communication with the client. You will also develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about data and will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.
As a member of our team in the EY GDS Spain office in Malaga, you´ll have a chance to extend your knowledge & experience by working on interesting projects with the newest technologies and approaches. You´ll support clients in choosing the most suitable business solution and take part in digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities:

- Knowledge of data integration (ETL/pipelines)
- Experience leading BI projects
- Experience with Spark, PySpark, Python and AWS / Azure and BI tools.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience in the insurance sector is positively valued.

Job Description
Participation in Markets Data Hub tasks as a Data Engineer in the definition and automation of processes developed using Big Data technologies (Spark Scala, Databricks, Airflow) in Market Risk. The key responsibilities will not be those of a Spark Scala developer, but rather process definition, data preparation, request creation following the department´s procedures for process automation and configuration, and execution and validation of integrated tests. Process automation will be achieved through software deployments via Job as a Code.
