Desde About Your Talent, nos encontramos en la búsqueda de una persona para la posición de Project Manager con experiencia en eficiencia energética para una destacada empresa multinacional de servicios industriales con sede central en Bilbao.
La persona seleccionada será responsable de gestionar todas las etapas del proyecto de eficiencia energética, desde la planificación inicial hasta la implementación y el seguimiento del rendimiento, con el objetivo de lograr mejoras significativas en el uso y la gestión de la energía.
Las principales funciones del puesto incluyen:
- Planificar y coordinar las necesidades de los proyectos de forma global desde la perspectiva de gestión de recursos y equipos de trabajos.
- Liderar equipos multidisciplinares proporcionando dirección clara, asignación eficiente de tareas y motivación y desarrollo profesional del personal a cargo.
- Mantener una comunicación efectiva con clientes asegurando la satisfacción, resolviendo posibles problemas y fomentando las relaciones comerciales.
- Identificar, evaluar y gestionar los riesgos potenciales que puedan surgir durante el desarrollo del proyecto, implementando estrategias para mitigar su impacto en el proyecto.
- Realizar evaluaciones periódicas del rendimiento del proyecto, recopilar y analizar datos relevantes para identificar áreas de mejora y asegurarse de que se logren los objetivos establecidos.
Las necesidades del puesto, requieren de una persona con:
- Grado en Ingeniería de la energía
- Máster en tecnología energética para el desarrollo sostenible.
- Al menos 3 años de experiencia como Jefe de Proyecto.
- Al menos 3 años de experiencia gestionando equipos.
- Nivel avanzado de inglés (B2).

Responsabilities:
- Execute the project within the agreed scope, planning and budget
- Guarantee alignment of the process and technological development
- Assure that all process and operations related aspects are covered
- Assure that technical requirements and capacity are met
- Assure the knowledge transfer into the operational organization
- Define and follow up the progress of all the work packages required for the execution of the project
- Assure control and follow-up of all aspects of the project by regular meetings and reporting
- Timely detect roadblocks and take corrective action to overcome them
- Report progress of the project to the program director
- Manages risk, change of scope, business case and end of phase reporting
- Clear and transparent communication to all stakeholders
- Gather the lessons learned during the course of the project
- Prepare, revise and approve technical documentation for the design phases of projects, guaranteeing that standards, guidelines, best available, safe and cost-effective solutions are considered.
- Ensure that project documents are complete and optimal for a competitive and fair tender process.
- Support the procurement phase of specific components and works, screening from bids to good reception confirmation in support of the project management.
- Control costs during execution of projects.
- Supervise the construction, installation and commissioning of assigned projects, within its area of responsibility.
- Work with other Engineering teams, integrating the work with other specialties into the final project solution, assuring user deadlines are met and without unexpected delays in production.
- Execute all assigned tasks, planning and delivering on time, safely, efficiently, reliably and in a cost-effective manner.
- Make quality and timely decisions within the Engineering tasks under his/her responsibility
- Gather relevant data to inform the decision makers regarding complex issues
- Propose improvements (procedures, organizational, new technologies, capex, productivity) as appropriate.
- Capture user feedback and lessons learned for future projects.
- Collaborates in internal and external audits.
- Carry out assigned tasks and duties in a safe manner, in accordance with instructions, and to comply with environmental, health & safety rules/procedures, regulations and codes of practice.
- Manage vendors & contractors onsite, analyze the potential risk and recommend actions to mitigate the problems from construction (EHS, manpower, logistics ).
- Perform or support commissioning of the equipment before handing over to the Process team, support process team during the internal qualification
- Perform engineering and technical support to the projects when needed, undertaking any additional tasks commensurate with the role as and when required.
Key parameters
- Participating in projects of an average, but not limited to, 25 to 50m
- Working at sites reporting to RBM business unit and integrating teams up to 20 engineers
- May supervise up to 10 technicians and less experience engineers
- May work abroad for certain periods of time, in other RBM sites or at vendor facilities
Interfaces
- Project Managers have main interfaces
- Internally with process engineers, procurement, operations, supply chain, quality, maintenance and EHS
- Externally with contractors and vendors, engineering partners and equip. manufacturers
Requirements:
- University degree, or equivalent qualification, in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Instrumentation/Automation
- Technical experience and/or background in the execution of engineering projects (of specialties above mentioned)
- Relevant experience and understanding in the execution of industrial projects in operational environments
- Knowledge of design software (e.g. AutoCad)
- Knowledge of EHS standards, industry good practices and legal requirements applicable to the specialty of focus
- Competent (written and verbal) English and Spanish
- Computer literate with good working knowledge of the MS Office package
- Must have the Knowledge, Experience and Skills to conduct their tasks in accordance with the rules and procedures set down.
