HOUSEKEEPER WITH CHILDCARE SUPPORT - MARBELLA, SPAIN (LIVE-IN)

On behalf of a lovely small family in Marbella, we are currently recruiting for a permanent full-time Housekeeper who will also assist with some childcare support for their 6-year old.

The family consists of 2 adults and 2 children, aged 6 and 1, as well as a nanny. They live in Marbella but frequently visit their private house in Ibiza. The main language spoken in the household is Russian, although they would like a housekeeper who can speak both Spanish and English. They do not have residences outside of Spain but might take trips to other European countries.

The family has not had a full-time live-in housekeeper before, but they have had part-time or interim staff in the past. It is important to find a candidate who can adapt to new and changing needs, as they've recently decided it's necessary to hire someone full-time who can take care of general household management and assist with the older child's needs, especially during the school year.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Housekeeping:

· Daily cleaning to high standards

· Laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management

· Precise bed-making and linen care

· Household supply management and reordering

· Running errands as requested

· Deep cleaning seasonally

· Reporting maintenance issues promptly

· Creating a calm, organized, and discreet environment

Childcare:

· Picking up the child from school and supervising afternoons (vehicle supplied)

· Active engagement in play and educational activities

· Overnight stays when required

· Accompanying the family during national and international travel (including extended trips - most likely the family will be in Ibiza for two months this summer).

· Maintaining child's routine, safety, and comfort at all times (there is a nanny as well so this childcare responsibility is more like additional support for the 6-year old)

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:

· Speaks fluent Spanish and conversational English

· Is passionate about maintaining high standards

· Has previous experience in a similar environment, with references

· Has a driver´s license

PACKAGE:

· Permanent Spanish contract, 40 hours per week

· 2000€-2200€ gross per month negotiable

· 14 salaries (12 monthly payments, and 1 extra in summer and 1 extra in December)

· Standard schedule is Monday-Friday, however some flexibility from time to time with travel, evenings, weekends and overnight work is required

· 30 days of paid holiday per year, plus public holidays

· Private accomodation is provided within the family home in Marbella, although this position could also be live-out if this suited the right person better
