ROLE SUMMARY:
The British College of Gavà (BCG), an IB World School within the global Inspired Education Group, is seeking an enthusiastic and talented Part-Time Art Teacher to join our creative and forward-thinking community from late August 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a thriving international school situated in beautiful natural surroundings just south of Barcelona.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver engaging, inquiry-based Art lessons aligned with school curriculum and international standards.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Assess, record, and report on student progress accurately and promptly.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and inspiring classroom environment.
- Integrate technology effectively into teaching and learning activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and cross-curricular projects.
- Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and wider community initiatives.
- Maintain strong communication with students, parents, and staff.
- Engage actively in professional development and reflective practice.
- Uphold the school’s safeguarding policies, values, and code of conduct.
- Strong subject knowledge and experience teaching Art (KS3 and/or GCSE Art experience ideal).
- Ability to set high expectations, plan effectively, and adapt teaching based on feedback.
- Excellent classroom practice, organisation, and commitment to student welfare.
- Confident use of ICT to enhance learning.
- A university degree in a relevant subject and appropriate right to work.
- A passion for education and continuous improvement.
