- Assess the effect of design or scheduling changes on authorisations with the technical teams and identify any required amendments or new applications.
- Communicate permit conditions to construction and environmental monitoring teams and compile the documentation needed to demonstrate compliance.
- Prepare status reports and alerts for ESG management, highlighting blockers, schedule risks and follow-up actions, and maintain an up-to-date, traceable archive of applications.
- University degree in Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Biology, Geography or another discipline related to environmental management and project permitting.
- Experience in preparing environmental studies and environmental and land-use planning pre-feasibility studies, as well as permitting for infrastructure, industrial facilities, data centres or energy projects.
- Practical knowledge of environmental assessment procedures, environmental authorisations and building permits in Spain. Knowledge of land-use planning sufficient to interpret planning instruments, land classification and zoning, permitted uses and development constraints.
- Technical and regulatory knowledge of air emissions, wastewater discharges, waste management and noise pollution, including prevention and control measures, environmental monitoring and documentation required for permitting.
- Ability to prepare and review environmental studies, technical reports and project documentation, identify environmental and planning constraints, and coordinate their assessment with specialists.
- Experience in tracking applications, managing deadlines and controlling documents, with attention to detail and the ability to maintain verifiable records.
- Strong written communication, technical coordination and organisational skills for working with public authorities, consultants and multidisciplinary internal teams.
- Proficiency in GIS tools, such as QGIS or ArcGIS, to access and analyse geographic information, manage layers and produce thematic maps and plans. Proficiency in Word, Excel and collaboration and document control tools.
