Responsibilities

The tasks to be performed by the beneficiary will involve basic activities in the production of non-viral lipid-based nanosystems using niosomes (thin-film hydration technique), cell culture techniques (culture of mesenchymal stem cells, analysis of cell viability and transfection efficiency using spectrophotometry and flow cytometry), and molecular biology techniques (isolation and purification of parental plasmid and minicircle DNA, gene expression analysis by real-time PCR, and protein expression analysis by Western blot).

Requirements

Candidate requirements: Academic qualification: MECES Level 1; Advanced Vocational Training Diploma, Baccalaureate, or Compulsory Secondary Education.

Selection and Evaluation Criteria

Block 1 – Education

  • English proficiency: Up to 5 points (5 points for C1 or higher, 4 points for B2, 3 points for B1).

Block 2 – Experience

  • Previous experience in niosome production (maximum 25 points; 5 points per month).
  • Previous experience in cell culture techniques and in the analysis of cell viability and transfection efficiency (maximum 20 points; 5 points per month).
  • Previous experience in molecular biology techniques (maximum 20 points; 5 points per month).
  • Other merits not included in the previous sections that are considered relevant for the development of the activities covered by the contract (e.g., conference presentations and/or research publications) (maximum 5 points; 1 point per merit).
