Job Description

We're looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team at Oracle-NetSuite. As part of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining data capturing infrastructure, metrics definitions and engineering tooling solutions for NetSuite and other internal projects. You will also participate on development of staging and testing environments in OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) and in design discussions with the team, contributing your ideas to help shape the future of our products (code review, planning). You will be creating and improving our current service deployment infrastructure using automation and the latest cloud capabilities to improve agility, reliability, and observability.
This position is focused more on a development work using industry leading technologies with a great opportunity to learn and grow. This is not an on-call position, and while you may be required to react quickly to operational issues during common business hours, most of your time will be spent on planned projects.
Preferred Qualifications And Experience
- Computer science or engineering degree (bachelor or above)
- Programming or scripting skills (Python or Java)
- Familiarity with Linux-based OS
- Experience with shell scripting
- Experience with version control systems
- Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking
