Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and target potential clients through market research, networking, and strategic outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn)
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with hiring managers, HR professionals, and senior decision-makers
- Understand client hiring needs and present bespoke recruitment solutions across permanent and contract staffing
- Negotiate commercial terms and close new client agreements
- Collaborate closely with the recruitment delivery team to ensure seamless onboarding and successful client delivery
- Log and manage all business development activity in our CRM system
- Represent the company at industry events, networking functions, and client meetings
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to uncover new business opportunities
- Consistently meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs set by management
- Proven experience in business development or sales within the recruitment industry (agency or in-house)
- Solid understanding of recruitment service models (permanent and contract), with a client-focused mindset
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Familiarity with CRM systems and maintaining accurate sales pipelines
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Industry knowledge in sectors such as technology, healthcare, or finance
- Experience in a 360-recruitment role
- Existing portfolio of clients or a developed professional network
