Coruña British International School is a highly distinguished British international school the first in the city to gain NABSS (National Association for British Schools in Spain) accreditation. The school’s curriculum has been fully approved by both the Galician Government and the British Council, and is considered to be, alongside its sister school in Vigo, one of the foremost British schools in the Galicia region. Founded more than 8 years ago this progressive school with strong family values has delivered the English National Curriculum to hundreds of students and has evolved to meet the needs of modern learners. Students aged three to 14 attend the school and follow the National English Early Years Framework and the English National Curriculum.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Humanities, Education, or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Strong understanding of curriculum expectations for Social Sciences.
• Experience designing assessments, tracking progress, and providing effective feedback to students and families.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working effectively with colleagues, families, and the wider school community.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
