JLA International, a Leader in Food Safety, is now accepting applications for a Part-time Sample Prep Technician position at its facility in De Leon, TX.

Ideal Candidates Will Possess The Following

– A High School education or GED (required)

– Basic math skills

– Good attitude and willingness to work with others

– Good communication and organization skills

– Ability to follow written directions

– Strong understanding of aseptic technique in the laboratory

– Ability to regularly lift 50lbs

Sample Prep Technician duties include: sample preparation, sample sorting and log-in, performing specific sample testing steps (under supervision), transcribing results, data entry, inventory control, washing glassware, general laboratory cleaning, and other duties as assigned.

The shift for this position is part-time (20-30 hours/week), with a flexible schedule (operating hours are Monday – Friday, starting at 8:00am). The laboratory operates weekends, so candidates must be willing to work some weekends.
