As Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and delivering social media strategies that promote our programmes, increase brand visibility, and nurture meaningful connections with our
target audiences. In addition, you will contribute to broader digital marketing efforts as required.
Classification: Full-time (36 hours per week)
Work Format: Primarily in-person, with some flexibility for remote working where appropriate

Tasks
1. Social Media Strategy: Develop and execute creative and impactful social media strategies aligned with our brand identity and marketing objectives.
2. Content Creation: Produce high-quality, engaging, and visually appealing content for various social media platforms.
3. Coordinate video and photo shoots with videographers, photographers, lecturers, students, and visiting artists.
4. Video Editing is a key aspect of the role, as the majority of our content is video-based.
5. Graphic design for social media using tools such as Canva, Photoshop, or Figma.
6. Copywriting for captions, posts, and short-form promotional text.
7. Community Engagement: Build and manage our online community by interacting with followers, responding to comments and enquiries promptly, and developing strong relationships with students, alumni, guest artists, and staff for ongoing content creation.
8. Analytics and Reporting: Monitor social media performance using analytics tools. Provide regular reports to the marketing team, evaluating the success of campaigns and recommending improvements based on data insights.
9. Additional Digital Marketing Tasks: May include email marketing, paid social campaigns, or other digital initiatives based on the candidate’s expertise and interests.
Qualifications:
Essential
- Demonstrated experience managing professional Instagram, TikTok, and other social media platforms
- Proficient or native-level English
- Studies in Digital Marketing or a related field
- Passion for the performing arts (acting, dance, commercial dance, or musical theatre)
- Video editing skills using DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, Premiere Pro or similar tools
Desirable
- Conversational Spanish
- Experience working in or around performing arts education or production
- Familiarity with digital design tools such as Canva, Photoshop, or Figma
