Sustainability and ESG standards’ play an important role at SanLucar. We have developed a global sustainability strategy for the company focused on environmental and social objectives. The world is changing and a sustainable agriculture with environmentally friendly methodologies, reduction of residues and less consumption of resources are necessary to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SGDs).

Our goal is to make a positive contribution to society and the environment through our actions and behavior, while at the same time reducing the negative effects.

As an intern (m/f/d) in this area, your tasks will include to give support in the Working Group implementing Sustainability aspects trough the company, assist in the development of our Sustainability Report and indicator system, to work with the team on developing the Sustainability Management System for the group, give support on the Supplier’s Monitoring System regarding ESG topics and cooperate in the arrangement of social activities. Finally, you will help us in the research and analysis activities on current sustainability topics complete the tasks, as well to prepare summary presentations.

Your internship will be accompanied by a tutor responsible for your professional training and by a supervisor of internships for the organization in general. You will also receive a personalized training plan and we regularly carry out an evaluation session in which we intend to carry out a personalized follow-up. In addition, we remunerate your activity monthly with 600€ gross. At the end of your stay we will give you a training certificate, including the evaluation. Of course, we can also offer you lots of sunshine, fresh fruits and plenty of opportunities to join our multi-cultural team.

What You’ll Bring Along

• You are studying, have just graduated or in postgraduate studies in a field related to sustainability (environment, circular economy, social responsibility, biology, forestry engineering...) or related to the food industry (agriculture engineering, food technology...)
• You have interest in sustainability in your everyday work and life, you would like to know how handle it in a company and are motivated to learn more about the task.
• You have excellent language skills in Spanish and English, each additional language (German, French;…) will be a plus
• You are open-minded, work independently, have analytical capacity and enjoy working in a team.
• You have already gained some experience in sustainability topics and already have experience abroad.
• You can make an internship contract through your university or scholarship.
