Product Owner, Payments, FinTech, Malaga, Hybrid, Up to $56,000 base

We’re hiring a Product Owner to join a fast-growing fintech building payment capabilities within an open banking platform. This role focuses on how payments are initiated, processed and scaled across a network of banks and partners.

You’ll be working on a core product that enables seamless bank-to-bank payments, owning the experience from API through to execution and reliability.

What you’ll be doing

Own the product backlog for payment initiation and execution features

Define user stories and work closely with engineering teams to deliver scalable payment solutions

Drive roadmap for payments including flows, performance, reliability and partner integrations

Work with compliance and regulatory teams on PSD2, SCA and related requirements

Collaborate with commercial and partner teams to improve payment success rates and user experience

What we’re looking for

Experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in payments, fintech or banking

Strong understanding of payment flows, APIs and transaction processing

Experience working closely with engineering teams in Agile environments

Ability to translate complex regulatory and technical requirements into product features

Comfortable owning end-to-end delivery of payment products

Nice to have

Experience with open banking, PIS or account-to-account payments

Exposure to PSD2, SCA or payment gateway integrations
