JOBLOCATIONANDSCHEDULE:SchoolofCivilEngineering.Monday-Friday,15:30-19:00(17.5h/week).
TASKSThepresentpositionofresearchsupporttechnicianisopenedtodevelopthefollowingtaskswithintheframework of the lines of investigation of the beneficiary PI of the Ramón y Cajal program:
Development of biomathematicalmodels ofcancer growth andtreatment response basedon partial differential equations.Developmentofadvancedcomputationalmethodsbasedonisogeometricanalysistoperformcomputer simulations of these models.Development of methods of parametrization of these models based on least squares techniques employing longitudinal series of data from patients.Analysisofthepredictions,parameters,andbiomarkersobtainedwiththepersonalizedmodelsforeachpatient and within the group of patients.Contributiontothepreparationoftextandvisualmaterialsforthepresentationofscientificresultsin conferences and scientific articles.(2) REQUIREMENTS The candidates will have to be in possession of a Bachelor degree.

- SELECTION CRITERIA Applications will be scored up to 100 points in accordance with the following criteria:
- 1.
Applications with degrees in mathematics as well as in civil, mechanical, or biomedical engineering will be valued preferentially.
In the case of applicants with degrees in statistics, physics, and other engineering areas, a weighting factor of 70% will be applied to the GPA.
In the case of applications with other degrees, the previous weighting factor will be of 10%.

For all these courses, the same weighting scheme as a function of the type of Bachelor degree used for the GPA will be applied.
Experience related to the tasks to be developed (maximum 30 points).
- 1.
Each month of experience will be valued with a maximum of 2 points.
- 2.
Each month of experience will be valued with a maximum of 2 points.
- 3.
Each month of experience will be valued with a maximum of 1.5 points.
- 4.
Awards, scholarships, and contracts related to the project tasks obtained in competitive calls will be valued with up to 2 points each.
- English level (maximum 5 points).
- Personal interview (maximum 25 points).
- SELECTION
The process will create a waiting list (reserves) with the applications that satisfy this condition.
If no candidate obtains a score over 65 points, the position may be declared unfilled.
