Spain IT Production

Spain IT Production organization consists of CIB ITO & ITG IT Platforms and is responsible for providing IT Production services to our Clients in EMEA, ensuring a Digital Market evolution, in a secured and performant environment, and with a reliable quality. IT Production organisation includes Infrastructure services, Telecom & Workspace, Production Security and Application Production domains and associated transversal services (CTO Office, Control Tower, PMO and IT Continuity). In Spain, IT Production relies on a Platform with over 400 experts that provide full-stack support services ensuring a secure, stable, standardized, and efficient production.

ABOUT THE JOB

MISSION

We are looking for a developer with a strong knowledge in Python and DevOps tools.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- The main activities and missions will be:

• Develop and maintain the application Security Firewall Audit

• Understand functional user stories and translate them to a technical solution

• Maintain documentation up to date
• Help users with the use of the application

REQUIREMENTS

- Studies - Master Degree or Equivalent

- Experience - At least 3 years

- Languages - Very good use of English (written/spoken).
- French speaking will be appreciated.

SKILLS

- Technical Competencies :
- Development of APIs / Web services exposed with a swagger
- Writing unit tests and integration tests
- Code reviews in pairs
- Code quality
- Code security
- Use of internal group tools / libraries
- Knowledge of SOA architectures, Microservices , APIs, Rest
- Deployment of the application on a Kubernetes based infrastructures

Title: Developer/Data Engineer (f/m/d)

In your role as developer / data engineer, you will get to work first-hand on building and managing the data infrastructure that is at the heart of many of our energy and trading processes. Building on your extensive technical experience and your can-do attitude, you will be directly responsible for shaping and transforming our data landscape. What you will do:
- Develop and operationalize performant, high-available and scalable services to provide accessible and quality data products Axpo internally.
- Define, implement and maintain performant data models as well as robust and scalable storage solutions.
- Establish and implement methods and tooling to improve overall data quality and lineage capabilities.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and providing data-driven solutions.
- Collaborate with our internal infrastructure team on cloud solutions, specifically build and maintain IaaS tasks.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications, develop solutions, and ensure their cost-effectiveness and sustainability.

What you bring & who you are:
- You are a competent developer (5-7 years experience) with extensive practical knowledge in one or more widely adopted programming languages (Python, C#, Java or similar).
- You have worked with Cloud infrastructure and services (preferably Azure) and ideally have demonstrated hands-on experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines as well as broader DevOps practices.
- You have a working knowledge of database technologies (preferably PostgreSQL).
- You bring practical experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, Prefect or similar, ensuring the efficient scheduling and monitoring of data workflows.
- Being a hands-on problem solver, complex problem analysis and solution-design thinking are among your core strengths.
- You bring strong communication skills and can adapt to, manage and influence a variety of business & IT stakeholders.
- You are proficient in English; Spanish is a plus.
- Preferred: deep understanding of the energy and/or trading industry.
