Funciones:

Diseño y Email marketing

- Diseño y programación de los distintas Newsletters (promociones, lanzamientos producto etc) a través de la herramienta de Pardot o similares.

- Ejecución de tests A/B para la mejora de los resultados. Optimizar campañas.

- Diseño y maquetación de catálogos, folletos, manuales, fichas técnicas, monográficos y demás material promocional tanto en formato digital como para impresión. Así como adaptación de materiales para mercados internacionales

- Realización de mockups, infografías, renders, vídeos y demás soluciones digitales para alimentar el ecosistema digital e impreso.

- Packaging, protección de marca.

- Soporte en diseño en ferias nacionales e internacionales (stands).

- Actualización y mantenimiento de imágenes y documentos en plataformas internas (PIM/Salesforce/).

- Experiencia Pardot y Mailchimp mínimas.

- Se valorará positivamente conocimientos sobre programación y CSS.

UX/UI/WEB

- Diseño y actualización de sitios web de la compañía.

- Mantenimiento del catálogo de ecommerce (subida de productos, banners¿).

- Programación y diseño de landing pages y otros elementos en los CMS señalados con HTML y CSS, JavaScript

- Diseño de banners u otros materiales on-line tanto para webs propias como de clientes, afiliados.

- Diseño de creatividades para Google, Meta ads, etc.

- Gestión de contenidos: Páginas de producto, colecciones y blogs.

- Analizar, proponer y aplicar mejoras UX/UI para el Portal Web B2B.

SOFTWARE:

1. Suite de Adobe Creative Cloud (imprescindible)

- Photoshop: edición de imágenes, composiciones, retoque fotográfico.

- Illustrator: ilustración vectorial, branding, logotipos.

- InDesign: maquetación editorial (revistas, catálogos, ebooks).

- After Effects: vídeos, animaciones, motion graphics, intros.

- Adobe XD: prototipado y diseño de interfaces UI/UX.

What you’ll be doing:

You’ll be joining our Product team as a design engineer, working closely with the frontend engineering team. You’ll be responsible for the overall product UX, DX, and visual design. This includes defining design guidelines, creating shared styles and components, and ensuring consistency across the product and public website.

At implementation time, you’ll contribute directly to the codebase or pair with frontend engineers. Our design process typically starts with simple wireframes and moves straight into coded prototypes (we usually skip high-fidelity mockups in Figma).

We are hiring a UX Designer for Infrastructure to work with the exceptional engineering teams at Canonical, creating open-source tools that are used to build clouds and manage clusters of compute globally.

Our design team is on a mission to turn complex, open-source software into efficient, intuitive products that can change how complex systems are built and what open source is capable of for enterprise IT. We are looking for a talented and technically oriented user experience designer, who shares our ambitions.

This role sits in the design team reporting to the Infrastructure design manager.

Location: This role will be based remotely in the EMEA region.

The role entails

• Building tools that enable everyone to build their own cloud experiences (MAAS, LXD, MicroCloud and Canonical k8s)
• Collaborating with product managers and engineers to shape the future of the Data Center: Self-sovereign Clouds
• Supporting deeply complex products with the process of design and UX heuristics
• Working to evolve and evangelise design systems that drive consistency and efficiency
• Understanding the broader scope of your work and its numerous interconnected constraints
• Supporting one of our working groups to enable Canonical design's horizontal efforts
  
  

What we are looking for in you

• Exceptional academic track record from both high school and university
• Bachelor's or equivalent in User Experience, Design, or STEM or a compelling narrative about your alternative chosen path
• Excitement about building things and working with real hardware
• Knowledge and passion for user experience, technology and design
• Commitment to continuous learning and improvement - curious, flexible, scientific
• Result-oriented with a drive to finish work and celebrate success
• Confidence in user research practices
• Engagement with the latest design research and innovation
• Ability to travel internationally twice a year, for company events up to two weeks long
  
  

UX designers should be excellent communicators who are at ease working with a complex mix of engineers, designers and executives. They represent us at cross-functional company meetings and must present their design position with clarity and precision. They should be confident and excited to take on complex design challenges. They should also be able to connect their design leadership to the strategic vision of the company.
