Your Role And Responsibilities

In this role, you will be assuming responsibility for the programming, engineering, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of ABB industrial Drives and control-systems in Metals and Pulp and Paper Plants. You will be part of a local and collaborate with international project team providing solutions to our clients.

As a Field Service Engineer, you will execute service work with low to medium complexity according to work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards and safety guidelines.

• Performing service tasks like commissioning and preventive and corrective maintenance of AC&DC Drives and Control systems
• Service Technical Support: Take on-call service according customer contracts, at least one complete week every three weeks. During the week of on-call service, 24h availability to travel and attend customer's corrective maintenance
• Availability and Flexibility: Adapt work time to customer needs, that means to work when required extra hours during weekends or public holidays
• Willingness to travel (:60%-80%): for commissioning and service activities, mainly domestic travels and customers
• Interacting and collaborating with project managers, sales, customers, and engineering peers across multiple locations
• Consulting with and advising customers on the best service solutions in accordance with standard processes, procedures and safety guidelines.
• Troubleshooting simple equipment failure and making recommendations to avoid repeating the problem in the future.
• Identifying opportunities to develop new service applications, equipment and methods.
  
  

• CFGS o University studies (Electricity, Electronic or Automation) We value profiles that have only training practices as experience, as well as profiles with work experience: commissioning, maintenance, technical assistance
• Safe and ethical leadership attitude; good understanding of functional safety standards and project practices
• Spoken and written Spanish native or high level
• Good command of English, additional language skills are welcome
• Leadership and Initiative and excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Available to travel and adjust working hours
• Own car and valid driving license for Spain are required

Actualmente estamos buscando un Field Service Engineer / Técnico de Campo para servicios de mantenimiento predictivo, preventivo y correctivo de equipos de centrifugación industrial.

Responsabilidades y Tareas

• Ejecución de servicios de mantenimiento correctivo, preventivo y predictivo de equipos de centrifugación industrial.
• Asesoramiento a clientes sobre posibles mejoras en los equipos, en la instalación y en el proceso productivo.
• Elaboración de los reportes de servicio indicando trabajos realizados y propuestas de mejora.
• Ejecución de servicios cumpliendo los procedimientos establecidos y el estándar de calidad de GEA.
• Disponibilidad para la asignación de servicios por parte del responsable de planificación dentro del calendario laboral establecido.
  
  

• Formación técnica, especialidad en mecánica y electricidad industrial en el área de mantenimiento.
• Experiencia mínima de 3-5 años en departamento de asistencia técnica industrial en clientes, siendo muy valorable la experiencia en operación y mantenimiento de sistemas de centrifugación mecánica.
• Con residencia en zona sur-oeste, preferiblemente en las provincias de Jaén o Granada.
• Capacidad para trabajar con total autonomía y disponibilidad para viajar la mayor parte del tiempo por toda la península Ibérica – España y Portugal (el puesto requiere pernoctar fuera de casa de forma regular – alrededor del 80%)
• Imprescindible disponer de carnet de conducir B

• Valorable nivel medio / alto de inglés tanto hablado como escrito.
