About the role

We’re looking for a detail‑driven Group Controller to support financial controls, group consolidation, and forecasting activities across our subsidiaries. This role plays a key part in ensuring compliance, improving processes, and enhancing financial visibility across the Group.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of the financial aspects of new projects
• Preparation of periodic financial projections for the Group
• Ensure full compliance with transfer pricing regulations and maintain the Group’s transfer pricing manual (system)
• Preparation and monitoring of the Group’s business plan
• Support in the monthly preparation and periodic projection of production costs and valued inventories
• Support in the Group's monthly accounting consolidation process
• Prepare and support the submission of financial information to the external regulatory bodies, including the Spanish Tax Agency (AEAT) and the Bank of Spain
• Collaborate with other finance areas and provide analytical and reporting support as required
• Contribute to process optimisation and projects aligned with department and company priorities

About you

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• Background in manufacturing finance control role is essential
• Excellent analytical and process-optimisation skills
• Strong administrative accounting knowledge and experience, including financial control principles
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using ERP system
• Professional level English (verbal and written)
• Self-motivated and proactive approach to achieving deadlines
• Strong communication, influencing skills and experience collaborating with global stakeholders

What you will do

• Strategic Treasury: Optimize our capital allocation. You’ll be tasked with putting our cash pile into risk-appropriate high-return vehicles and exploring non-dilutive funding to build a war chest.
• Grant Maximization: Lead applications for R&D grants and other available non-refundable financial incentives, local and international. Pragmatically optimize organization setup to maximize benefit attribution and monitor program execution.
• International Tax Structure: Evaluate and execute the best holding structures for our group. As we continue to expand in Europe and beyond, we need to weigh the best options that combine sophisticated financial services and business-friendly regulations.
• Group Consolidation: We currently operate in PT, ES, and IT, and are expanding beyond. You will own the consolidated forecast and financial reporting across all geos.
• Liability Management: Own the financial risk model across the business, with a focus on our Employer-of-Record service line. Manage employment liabilities, indemnity funds, and collateral guarantees.
• KPI & OKR Leader: You’ll be the guardian of metrics, using OKRs to align future strategy and KPIs to measure past performance.
• Continuous Forecasting: Objective decisions are only as good as the data supporting them. You’ll build forecasts and continuously update based on execution, keeping an obsessive eye on MRR vs. Recurrent Costs ratio.

Who you are

Sobre la posición

Buscamos un/a Controller Contable / Accountant para incorporarse al departamento financiero de una empresa con alto volumen de actividad y entorno dinámico. ABOUT THE ROLE

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial control, monitoring business performance, and supporting the organization with reliable financial insights. You will work closely with internal stakeholders across departments to guarantee the correct processing of financial and logistical data, contributing to continuous improvement and helping optimize results.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

• Carry out internal controls related to cost control, budget monitoring, and budget‑vs‑actual analysis, in collaboration with the Controller.
• Verify financial input in the ERP system, including master data and coding (general ledger, creditors, debtors, salary journal, bank).
• Monitor and ensure correct processing of logistical information into financial information through the system (work orders, indirect hours, adjustments), taking corrective action when deviations are detected.
• Ensure that all required financial data (inventory management, purchase orders) is accurately processed in the automated system.
• Define and maintain the structure and layout of the general ledger.
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of export and VAT declarations.
• Provide business economic analysis aiming to improve results and overall performance.
