Key Responsibilities

• Prepares the bar for service through thorough mise en place, ensuring all equipment, ingredients, garnishes and glassware are fully stocked and service-ready.
• Curates and delivers a specialised cocktail-focused selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, adhering to high standards of preparation, presentation and taste.
• Delivers consistently high-quality beverages at speed during peak service periods, maintaining accuracy, cleanliness and presentation under pressure.
• Engages with guests in a professional and friendly manner, taking orders, making tailored recommendations and providing detailed information about beverage offerings.
• Creates memorable guest interactions by reading the room, engaging naturally and contributing to the overall energy and atmosphere of the venue.
• Processes payments with accuracy and efficiency, handles cash and operates the point-of-sale system.
• Maintains a clean, organised and visually polished bar throughout service, ensuring the bar area remains presentation-ready at all times.
• Fosters strong knowledge of the beverage menus, including ingredients, flavours and preparation methods, staying updated on industry trends.
• Ensures a clean and organised bar area, always stocked with appropriate supplies, garnishes and glassware.
• Applies effective inventory management techniques, including accurate tracking of usage, timely reordering of supplies and regular stock checks.
• Handles all products, glassware and equipment with care, minimising wastage, breakages and stock loss through disciplined bar practices.
• Adheres to all health and safety regulations, supporting The Pacha Group’s commitment to cleanliness, sanitation and responsible beverage handling.
• Applies responsible service practices at all times, supporting guest wellbeing and escalating concerns to supervisors when necessary.
• Collaborates with team members, including Servers, Chefs and Managers to ensure a consistent and well-coordinated service experience.
• Communicates clearly and calmly with the bar team during service, following direction from senior team members to ensure smooth and coordinated operations.
• Participates in training sessions, workshops and team meetings to support skill development and operational alignment.
• Resets and breaks down the bar post-service, ensuring cleanliness, organisation and readiness for the next shift.

What We’re Looking For

• A proven track record in a luxury hotel or resort environment in a Bartending role, delivering consistent guest experiences.
• A bartending certification or related professional training is preferred.
• Extensive knowledge and mastery of a diverse and exhaustive range of beverages, cocktail recipes, and mixology techniques.
• Robust organisational skills and exceptional multi-tasking skills to efficiently and accurately manage multiple orders and prioritise tasks effectively.
• Comprehensive knowledge of sanitisation protocols and cleaning techniques, especially related to kitchen equipment, storage areas and food safety standards.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on the requirements of the venue.
• A proactive nature, coupled with a meticulous eye for detail, ensures every aspect of the operation is perfectly curated.
• Professional appearance, always adhering to Paradiso Ibiza’s grooming standards and maintaining a polished demeanour.
• Must hold the Legal Right to work in Europe, including any required visas or work permits, in full compliance with local regulations.
• Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English and Spanish. Additional languages are a definite plus.
• Personally settled on the island with accommodation already arranged is a must.
