Key Responsibilities

• Supports the Culinary Team in daily preparations, ensuring ingredients, utensils and equipment are ready for service.
• Maintains a spotless, organised kitchen environment, in line with The Pacha Group’s hygiene and safety protocols.
• Washes, cleans, and stores kitchen tools and equipment with care and consistency, upholding impeccable standards at every touchpoint.
• Assists in the receiving and storing of deliveries, ensuring freshness, labelling accuracy and stock rotation.
• Prepares basic ingredients and mise-en-place under the supervision of senior culinary team members.

• Curates a well-executed selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, adhering to high standards of preparation, presentation and taste.

What We’re Looking For

• A proven track record as a Commis 1 or in a similar role within a luxury hotel environment or fine dining restaurant.
• A Culinary Degree or equivalent qualification is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Solid time management and multitasking skills to excel in a busy kitchen and maintain consistent service during high-volume periods.
• Sound knowledge of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) principles and practices, and a clear understanding of health and safety regulations, food hygiene standards and operational best practices.
• Previous experience in Forbes-rated or Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) properties is advantageous, demonstrating a strong commitment to service standards and operational consistency.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with guests, team members and other departments.
