Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant based in Palma de Mallorca. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing accurate reports, reconciling accounts, processing invoices, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations.

The role inolves general accounting tasks such as managing customers, suppliers, bank accounts, and fixed assets, monitoring expenses, and knowledge of Spanish tax regulations. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and ensure the efficient use of resources is also a key aspect of this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Skills in accounting, financial reporting, account reconciliation and managing financial records
• Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP and Navision; experience with Oracle NetSuite is desirable
• Knowledge of Spanish tax models
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial processes
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, on-site team environment
• Strong communication skills and the ability to present financial data clearly to key decision-makers
• Fluent in Spanish and English is highly desirable
