🌍 Location supported
This role can be performed remotely from the United Kingdom, Poland, South Africa, Spain, Portugal, or Romania. If you are currently located outside these countries, relocation will be required. Visa sponsorship and relocation support are available for the UK only for this role.

🌔 About the Opportunity
As an Engineering Manager, you are responsible for driving success for your engineering team(s). We expect our EMs to be technically strong, understand how to break down work, and support the growth and career development of our engineers. We are a fast-moving company, which requires balancing priorities, releasing quality features, and ensuring a high level of uptime. We expect our EMs to be strong communicators with the ability to easily work cross-functionally with our disciplines.
Tech Stack
- Typescript as our programming language of choice
- Node.js as our backend platform
- React, React Native andNextJS as our frontend
- Google Cloud Platform to host our services
- Manage, support, coach and develop high performing engineers through regular 1:1 and continuous feedback
- Partner with our VP of Engineering and Group Product Manager to ensure we build high-performing teams that consistently and iterate and deliver high-impact and high-quality work
- Lead on the creation, development and implementation of management best practice and tools e.g progression frameworks
- Partner with Senior Engineers to drive technical initiatives that raise the bar for our engineering practices
- Leading ongoing engineering work, ensuring timely delivery
- You have experience managing the performance and development of high-performing Engineers, including seniors and leads, at a high growth, rapidly scaling startups
- You know what good looks like for a high-performing team of Engineers and know how to get there
- You have previously worked as an Engineer at a senior level
- You have an empathetic leadership style and you build strong, effective relationships
- You care deeply about helping others achieve their goals and become the best Engineers they can be
- You are a fantastic communicator and able to work cross-functionally with our engineering team and other areas of the business

Qué buscamos:

Diseñar y supervisar la infraestructura en la nube (preferiblemente en entornos como AWS o GCP), asegurando alta disponibilidad y resiliencia.
Integrar soluciones de IA existentes en nuestros productos, enfocándose en la aplicación práctica y el valor añadido para el usuario final.
Colaborar estrechamente con equipos de producto y diseño, traduciendo necesidades de negocio en soluciones técnicas efectivas.

Requisitos
Experiencia comprobada (mínimo 8 años) en roles de liderazgo técnico en empresas SaaS, con un historial de implementación de soluciones escalables y seguras.

DESCRIPCIÓN Y FUNCIONES
TECH LEAD: Liderar soluciones técnicas de IA intensivas en datos: definir arquitectura, asegurar calidad de código, implementar DevSecOps en Azure/AWS y gestionar riesgos.
Requisitos:
- 5 años en liderazgo técnico en IA, experiencia en CI/CD, IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation), DevSecOps y agilidad (Jira).
- Habilidades en comunicación y mentoría.
• Sólida experiencia práctica con la arquitectura y los servicios de AWS y Azure.
• Experiencia demostrada en el diseño de pipelines y flujos de trabajo de CI/CD utilizando herramientas como GitHub Actions, Jenkins o GitLab CI.
• Sólido conocimiento de las prácticas de DevSecOps y los estándares de codificación segura.
• Experiencia con Infraestructura como Código (IaC) utilizando Terraform o AWS CloudFormation.
