As part of the Spanish Operation Centre, you will be part of a team supporting project execution, including the design, manufacturing, and delivery of such technologies all over Europe.
How You'll Make An Impact
- Lead and coordinate the primary (electromechanical) scope to ensure the integrity and correct function of the substation system, including conceptual design support and equipment implementation.
- Prepare and review technical specifications and validate equipment.
- Ensure 3D design/models, coordinating and resolving interferences between civil and electromechanical disciplines.
- Make technical recommendations during design, engineering, and execution phases to meet process requirements and standards.
- Support the project team with claims related to changes in the primary scope, assessing cost, time impacts, and risks while maintaining customer satisfaction through continuous dialogue and excellent service.
- Collaborate with engineering colleagues to share best practices and develop leadership, coordination, and communication skills, upholding core values of safety, integrity, and quality.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field
- Experience in electromechanical design of substations (AIS or GIS)
- High Voltage Apparatus experience/knowledge
- BIM/3D methodology
- Commitment to safety and adherence to workplace safety guide-lines, combined with a high level of self-motivation and curiosity for new technologies.
- Collaborative and solutions-oriented approach, with strong communication skills and knowledge of power systems, renewable energy, transmission systems.
- Fluent in English. Any additional languages will be appreciated.
