Sales Country Manager – Spain Subsidiary (Iberian Region)


We are looking to hire a Sales Country Manager for the company’s Iberian subsidiary, based in Spain, to drive business growth and effectively lead the local sales organization. The Sales Country Manager (SCM) will be responsible for guiding and developing the local sales team while implementing the company’s overall strategy and objectives. This role reports directly to the Global Business Director and is a key member of the global sales management team. Additionally, the SCM will collaborate closely with the company’s management team to ensure that the local organization aligns with the company’s overall processes and structures.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and develop the local sales team, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategy and objectives.
  • Drive growth and profitability, ensuring accurate revenue forecasting and performance.
  • Implement segmentation models, set targets, and align sales plans with global strategy and KPIs.
  • Build expertise in the local market and strengthen cooperation with other subsidiaries to support the brand.
  • Manage incentive programs to encourage collaboration and reinforce company values.
  • Foster a culture of problem-solving and continuous improvement, with consistent training and skill development.
  • Optimize sales resources through team collaboration and cross-functional efforts.
  • Oversee financial management, including P&L responsibility and budgeting.
  • Ensure alignment with operational and supply chain strategies for efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and adherence to company policies.


Key Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field, along with substantial experience in technical sales. They should possess strong leadership, persuasion, and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to manage and inspire a small team. Experience in international markets and collaborating across multiple subsidiaries. Financial knowledge, including P&L oversight and budgeting, is important for success in this role. Fluency in English is required for this role.
