We offer a research predoctoral position to work on statistical learning methods for the detection of methane in remote sensing satellite images in the framework of the project "A Foundational Methane Detection Dataset: Transparent Access to Cloud Optimized Spatio-Temporal Datasets", a Global Methane Hub project (www.globalmethanehub.org) funded by the Windward Fund (www.windwardfund.org).

Global Methane Hub funds and convenes organizations that are reducing methane on the ground in the best way for their communities, serves as a central hub for information about methane mitigation, and advocates for free data sharing. Windward Fund is a nonprofit that helps leaders pursue bold solutions to the climate crisis and other pressing environmental challenges.
