Job Description
As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at Vanderlande, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of the company's processes and products. You will work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure that quality expectations are consistently achieved. Your responsibilities will include planning and executing audits, managing action plans and supporting continuous improvement strategies.
You will report to the Manager of Operational Excellence and you will supervise, support and motivate a team of 4 quality professionals (2 in Quality Control and 2 in Quality Assurance), ensuring alignment with departmental goals, team development, and performance management.
In addition to managing your team, you will work in close collaboration with the other team leaders within the Operational Excellence department to ensure cross-functional coordination and the successful implementation of quality strategies.
Key Tasks And Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and motivate the QA/QC team, ensuring alignment with departmental goals and promoting professional growth within the team.
- Coordinate the daily work of your team, setting priorities and ensuring timely delivery of quality objectives.
- Actively participate in and lead quality improvement cycles.
- Manage the planning and execution of internal audits, involving your team in their preparation and execution.
- Coordinate and oversee external audits (QA SC), ensuring your team supports and follows up on corrective actions.
- Plan and execute audits of local suppliers, ensuring proper delegation and follow-up within your team.
- Supervise and monitor action plans, guaranteeing effective implementation both internally and externally.
- Gather, analyze, and report quality data to senior management, using insights to drive improvements within the team.
- Ensure proper execution of PPAP and FMEA processes, with direct involvement and ownership from your team members.
- Monitor your team’s performance and ensure clarity in roles and responsibilities.
- Collaborate closely with other team leaders in the Operational Excellence department to align strategies, share insights, and support joint initiatives.
- Foster effective communication and cooperation between the quality team and other departments.
- Support the Head of Operational Excellence in leading and executing strategic quality initiatives.
- Promote a mindset of continuous improvement, accountability, and excellence within your team.

Context
We are looking for a Spanish speaking BDR team lead who will, besides getting in high quality leads, also act as team lead & mentor the team as we expand within Spain. We have a passionate, entrepreneurial and international team with high ambitions - and we cannot wait to welcome you!
As a BDR Manager you play an essential part in acquiring new customers and get the team ready for the next level. You will be responsible for generating valuable leads that will convert to long-term, excited customers and help the team achieve their target.
Your role
You will be responsible for building and leading a commercial team in Spain and growing our local business. You will be based in Barcelona and report to the General Manager Spain.
Your mission: lead and develop world-class Sales team in Spain
- Identify and implement actions to improve commercial performance
- Manage and build Inbound & Outbound BDR teams in Spain (10 FTE)
- Define individual objectives and provide exceptional leadership and coaching to maximize target achievement
- Develop a strong customer-centric culture that reflects our business principles and values
- Ensure skello is recognized as a reference for training and developing sales teams
- Ensure current tools and processes are well suited for commercial teams’ needs in Spain
- Excellent understanding of the SaaS business model and Spanish local market
- Unmatched ability to drive sales growth
- Strong communication skills and ability to create productive team dynamics
- High willingness to join a fast-paced early-stage project
- Native or bilingual in Spanish and fluent in English (French is a plus)
- Interview with Marc, our General Manager Spain, to discuss your experience and assess your business sense/ understanding of the local Spanish market (60 mins)

Main Duties:

Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
- Experience in Sales, Customer Service, Contact Center, and Leadership/Sales Support Experience are assets
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluency in French is an asset
- Computer proficient, with an excellent knowledge of the CRS and Microsoft Office
- Action-oriented, highly organized, proven ability to get results
- Positive attitude and agility, a natural collaborative skill, fast and organized thinker, multi-tasker
- Must work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, with an ability to prioritize while executing in a tactful manner
