Te incorporarás al equipo de Smart Steps, el producto Big Data de Telefónica, dentro del área de Data Solutions. Trabajarás en el equipo de Producto, enfocado en la explotación de datos y generación de insights de valor, colaborando en la mejora de algoritmos, integración de APIs y análisis de datos.

Buscamos un perfil con ganas de aprender en un entorno tecnológico, con capacidad para trabajar en equipo, proactividad y habilidades para comprender algoritmos complejos y resolver problemas.

Se valorará destreza en tecnologías como Spark, PySpark, SQL (PostgreSQL) y herramientas de visualización geográfica como QGIS, así como conocimientos en Machine Learning, bases de datos (Presto) y herramientas de visualización como Tableau.

¿Qué te ofrecemos?

• Una beca remunerada de 25 horas semanales (850€ brutos / mes)
• Ubicación: Valladolid
• Durante de 6 meses, prorrogable a 6 meses más

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Senior Data Scientist to join our Advanced Analytics Team of Growth

The responsibility of this team is to develop all type of AI models and analytical products in the field of Machine Learning and Big Data context. Our way of working mirrors our eagerness to innovate and the agile methodologies are on our daily basis

Your key responsibilities:

As a data scientist you will:

Proactively take end-to-end ownership of the design and delivery of ML products across multiple departments within the bank. This includes a broad range of AI/ML solutions such as credit risk and decision-making models, churn prediction, recommendation systems, NLP solutions, income and expense estimation, data categorisation, clustering and segmentation, pricing models, OCR, and more.

You will co-create and evaluate business solutions using the best predictive approaches, working in cross-functional and international teams made up of business stakeholders, data analysts, data scientists and engineers.

You will also act as project manager making sure each solution meets business requirements, delivers tangible value to our clients, and adheres to our high standards of coding quality, robustness and engineering excellence.

We are seeking a passionate and highly skilled Data Scientist used to work near to business, understand the challenges and who proposes solutions proactively, defining the appropriate analytical solution for each challenge.

Our dreamed candidate will be:

- A value-driven professional, with a strong focus on delivering meaningful business impact.

- Holds a degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

- Proven experience in data analysis, data visualisation and the development of predictive

models, particularly supervised learning models.

- Strong command of SQL and Python, along with experience in distributed computing

frameworks such as Spark, Hadoop, Hive, and similar technologies, as well as modern MLlibraries.

- Comfortable working with Git-based workflows, including code repositories and peer reviews.

- Able to communicate technical insights clearly and effectively, even to non-technical

stakeholders.

- A strong team player, with the ability to collaborate effectively and tackle complex challenges in a dynamic environment.

What You'll Do

• Translating business challenges into data problems and designing practical, data-driven solutions, from identifying pricing opportunities to improving how we assess risk;
• Building and adapting predictive models, from traditional statistical approaches to advanced machine learning, grounded in a strong understanding of their theoretical foundations and their application to insurance pricing;
