Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the essential infrastructure and platform required to deploy, monitor and manage ML solutions in production, ensuring they are optimized for performance and scalability
- Collaborate closely with data science teams in developing cutting edge data science, AI/ML environments and workflows on AWS
- Liaise with R&D data scientists to understand their challenges and work with them to help productionize ML pipelines, models and algorithms for innovative science
- Take responsibility for all aspects of software engineering, from design to implementation, QA and maintenance
- Lead technology processes from concept development to completion of project deliverables
- Liaise with other teams to enhance our technological stack, to enable the adoption of the latest advances in Data Processing and AI

Requirements
- Significant experience with AWS cloud environments is essential. Knowledge of SageMaker, Athena, S3, EC2, RDS, Glue, Lambda, Step functions, EKS and ECS is also essential
- Modern DevOps mindset, using best DevOps tools, such as Docker and Git
- Experience with infrastructure as code technology such as Ansible, Terraform and Cloud Formation
- Strong software coding skills, with proficiency in Python, however exceptional ability in any language, will be recognized
- Experience managing an enterprise platform and service, handling new client demand and feature requests
- Experience with containers and microservice architectures e.g., Kubernetes, Docker and serverless approaches
- Experience with Continuous Integration and building continuous delivery pipelines, such as CodePipeline, CodeBuild and Code Deploy
- GxP experience
- Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice to have
- Experience building large scale data processing pipelines e.g., Hadoop/Spark and SQL
- Use of Data Science modelling tools e.g., R, Python and Data Science notebooks (e.g., Jupyter)
- Multi cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Demonstrable knowledge of building MLOPs environments to a production standard

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of an Aerodynamic Data for Loads Engineer based in Getafe. The successful candidate will join the Airbus Protect Aerodynamics Team within the Sustainability Business Unit.

As an Aerodynamic Data engineer, your main mission will be to deliver suitable aircraft design and configuration for optimum performance. You will be fully part of the challenges of today in designing a safe aircraft meeting the highest sustainability and operational standards.

The role

You will be accountable for the analysis of aircraft aerodynamic data obtained by means of CFD, wind tunnel testing or flight testing, of the Horizontal tailplane and Belly fairing of all Airbus Commercial aircraft models in addition to and R&T projects.

Your main tasks and responsibilities will range from:
- Aerodynamic analysis using CFD tools, Wind Tunnel and Flight Test data.
- Build aerodynamic models & datasets for Loads, Performance and Handling Qualities and support the integration of the models into our common Aerodynamic tool.
- Ensure regular communications to the Programmes and R&T stakeholders.

The role will be based in Getafe and will require travels depending upon specific projects and engagement with all sites.

- You hold a Masters degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline, with a specialisation in Aerodynamics and Flight Dynamics.

We need someone who has:
- Data analytics, interest in pioneering the use of the latest technologies such as artificial intelligence, data analytics and model based systems engineering.
- Programming skills in Python and Matlab. Object oriented programming and Github knowledge are desirable.
- Experience in geometry generation with CATIA V5 and CFD experience is a plus

At Airbus Defense and Space, the domain ´Integration Test & Analysis´ (TADVA) in Spain is looking for additional staff in the perimeter of Avionics & Mission Systems area supporting Lab & Rig Integration Test activities. The successful applicant will become part of TADVA team based in Getafe (although depending on program workload it may also require support to testing activities during short-mid periods of time in other sites as Manching).

The scope of responsibility covers from the test requirements gathering and assessment in order to define the integrated tests procedures and test plan; the execution of the tests procedures and final results analysis and reporting.

The tests support covers from development up to certification and qualification of the systems.

As of today, the main customers are the current aircraft programs A330 MRTT, A400M, C295, Eurofighter, SIRTAP, TDMS and Tornado, but in the very near future EuroMale, NGF and FCAS will also be part of it.

We are currently looking for a Test Specialist (mainly devoted to Avionics & Mission), within Integration Test & Analysis scope, for the Spanish perimeter of TADVA at Getafe site, who will help us to prepare, support, execute, analyze and report all related integration test activities on sub-system/system level for avionics and mission integration scope in accordance with the requirements of the program-specific V&V plans in a technical work environment with continuously increasing complexity. If you have a technical background as engineer with testing competences, and also feel comfortable in the technical coordination tasks among test center domains, and relevant design offices, take advantage of this unique opportunity for a very varied, interesting and challenging job.

MAIN ACTIVITIES
- Support TADVA project coordinators and Test specialists to prepare, execute integration test on ground on the aircraft, support flight test execution and derive required reporting and data analysis.
- Support Test Specialist to prepare the contribution to the Integrated Test Team forum within the scope of the activities.
- Support for development, certification and qualification lab/rig testing activities according to Test Program requirements. Ensure & support appropriate V&V strategy for these activities. Follow-up of test progress.
- Participate in the elaboration of Test planning; Review, optimize and challenge Test Requests.
- Interface with DO, AW and certification authorities, supporting test activities on certification meetings when required, write Certification/Qualification Cards and test plans and Certification/Qualification Test Reports.
- Interface and coordination with Test Integrators, Design Offices, Chief Engineering Office and Program Offices. Provide expertise to system architecture and design definition for Avionics & Mission Systems integration
- Identify, categorize, track and analyse system misbehaviours, providing the detailed information and associated impact to the designer
- Optimize test data analysis methodologies and procedures and manage priorities.

Tras un periodo de onboarding con el rol de Analista de Datos junto con el líder técnico y el resto del equipo, las principales responsabilidades del puesto serán:

* Identificar y proponer mejoras que mejoren el rendimiento y procesos de las soluciones de datos implementadas.

* Recopilar y analizar los requerimientos que las diferentes áreas de negocio propongan.

* Capacidad para interpretar grandes volúmenes de datos y extraer conclusiones relevantes.
