With 180,000 app downloads and 15 million euros invested on our platform, Equito is growing rapidly, and we are seeking a talented Technical Product Owner to join our team.
Your Responsibilities: 💼
- Collect and analyze internal feedback from cross-functional teams to identify areas of improvement and propose tools to optimize their daily operations.
- Gather user feedback to identify new feature opportunities and improve existing functionality of the app.
- Measure user journeys within the app, identifying friction points and opportunities for optimization.
- Prioritize features based on user needs, business goals, and team capacity to ensure alignment with the overall product strategy.
- Collaborate with the development team and other departments (Accounting & finance, Real-Estate Acquisition & Management, marketing..) to ensure seamless execution of features and improvements.
- Contribute to the product backlog and ensure it is well-organized, up-to-date, and reflective of the business priorities.
- Ensure successful feature delivery through the development cycle, from ideation to release.
What We’re Looking For: 🔎
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or other technical role, ideally in a digital or app development environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect and interpret feedback from users and teams.
- Experience working closely with development teams, and understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
- Solid understanding of user journey analysis and experience using tools to measure and improve user experience.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize features and tasks effectively.
- Experience with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, etc.) and automation tools (e.g. Zapier, Make) is a plus.
- Problem-solving mindset and a strong focus on optimizing and innovating user experiences.

- The Product Owner is responsible for defining Stories, providing definition of done and prioritizing the Team Backlog to streamline the execution of program priorities while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the features or components for the team (where applicable).
- The Product Owner collaborates with a wide range of stakeholders, especially the Capability Owners to identify and define user’/customer’s needs, and maximize the value produced by the Agile team, and develops together with Data Domain Owner the product vision and roadmap.
- The PO is the member of the Agile team who serves as the customer proxy responsible for working with other stakeholders—including capability owners, other PO - to define and prioritize stories in the Team Backlog
Responsibilities
- Research customer experiences and demands through validation with key users / zones.
- Works with Capability Owners to refine product backlog and prepare product increment planning (understand feature requirements and acceptance criteria: what needs to be delivered by when).
- Define stories and provide necessary clarifications to assist the agile team with their story estimates and sequencing.
- Outline a detailed product strategy & manage product road maps and releases with inputs from Capability Owners and Data Domain Owner.
- Manage cross-functional teams to continuously improve customer experience.
- Generate and manage new product ideas, through surveys, interviews and feedback channels.
- Understand a product’s selling points, identify product gaps and work with engineering teams to address them.
- Acts as a product evangelist and representing the product towards all stakeholders.
- Coordinates between users / customers and delivery teams on Train-the-Trainers, User Acceptance Testing and knowledge transfer.
- Provide cross-functional leadership between delivery teams, domain teams, notably leadership, customer success, capability and incubation teams. Key aspect is to ensure alignment on the vision and keep everyone informed about updates.
- Ensure the product is actively used, and the good level of support is provided to ensure operations and further iterations of the product
Qualifications
- University degree in Business Administration or IT Management
- Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams
- Experience in Pricing, Quotation and Order Experience is and advantage
- Data savvy, with strong communication skills
- Knowledge of roadmap management in agile environments.
- Experience in internal product marketing and value-based delivery.
- Ability to demonstrate leadership to all levels of the organization.
- Analytical thinking and empathy for customer needs.

You will…
- Represent the product in the various governance bodies.
- Establish, nurture and communicate the product vision, in line with business strategy and business users‘expectations
- Be responsible to request the Project and Maintenance budget for the product.
- Be responsible for the Customer Experience of the product.
- Define the features that are expected in the product (from projects, from maintenance, from continuous improvement)
- Challenge requirements from other business contributors
- Work closely with the IT owner, realization team and take day to day decisions.
- Evaluate business value and set priorities (prioritization of product backlog), fostering consensus on value from the different business representatives.
- Formalize expectations of product performance and delivered value through SLA
- You are required to adhere at all times to all and any regulatory requirements that apply to AXA Partners and AXA Group
- In the course of your duties, you are required to always consider the needs of the customer and how best you can serve them, for example always having regard to our requirements to treat our customers fairly.
- You must adhere to all internal policies and procedures regarding the management of your team (when applicable)
- Evaluate the business value for each story.
- Prioritize stories (prep, development, validation)
- Keep Product Backlog clean and up to date.
- Organize preparation (workshops, deliverables).
- Assist Agile team in understanding stories.
- Answer/Solve questions & issues.
- Relay Agile team blocking questions/issues.
- Organize Validation (Users tests)
- Pronounce Story validation during sprint Review.
- Manage Report & Committees (Prepare, Animate, Minutes)
- Arbitrates on local demands
- Manages the budget transfer requests.
You must:
- Familiarity with Agile methodology.
- Expertise in functional domain, IT solutions knowledge a plus.
- Understanding of other functional areas.
- Previous experience with IT teams preferred.
- Multinational work experience.
- Strong organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficient in English, foreign language skills advantageous.
- Effective communication and professional work ethic.
