Are you a true all-rounder with charisma to spare? Is being the captain of the ship your thing? If you have the makings of a leader, are energetic and are not afraid of big teams, this offer is for you.

At Acttiv we are looking for an entertainments manager to join our team at the hotel Gran Castillo Tagoro. Watch out! This is not a regular entertainments programme: it is part of the «Acttiv Integra» method, so all the activities are designed for this hotel only. Oh, and the best thing of all? It’s a themed hotel based on the Middle Ages!

You will be the ideal candidate if you know all the ins and outs of tourist entertainment, are good at dancing and have organisational skills, as you will be managing a large entertainments team.

Your Tasks Will Include

  • Implementing the thematic programme of daytime and evening activities, as well as organising and planning events and special days (Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Carnival, etc.).
  • Developing the miniclub activities in ‘Castleland’: medieval-themed activities, royal dinners, medieval mini-shows and a mini-disco for princes and princesses.
  • Following the principle of ‘Family & Fun’ by organising activities for the whole family, with a special focus on the medieval fair and the Royal Day experience.
  • Organising and participating in evening shows. Bring out the dancer in you!
  • Organising the schedules of the entertainers and being aware of their needs.
  • Reporting information on entertainment activities to Acttiv.
  • Attending and receiving training provided by the company.
  • Participating in meetings with other entertainment leaders in your area.
  • Monitoring your team’s time recording
  • Training and evaluating your team
  • Meeting with the hotel management, as well as liaising with other departments to foster a good team atmosphere.

Ah, but it’s not all about bureaucracy. You will have the opportunity to show off your entertainment skills by participating in activities with the rest of the team and interacting with guests from all over the world.

You will work alongside your area coordinator and be supported by our Human Resources team.

What are we asking for?

For This Position You Need To Have

  • Previous experience of at least two seasons as head of entertainment.
  • An excellent level of Spanish and English. Any other language is always welcome
  • Education valued (but not essential): entertainment studies
  • Experience with Office tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Dance skills
  • Availability for at least 1 year from the date of your start date

What do we offer?

As head of entertainment at the hotel Gran Castillo Tagoro, you will have the following conditions:

  • Accommodation: you can use the accommodation offered by the hotel or find your own accommodation. If you decide to use it, €165.60 net per month will be deducted from your salary to pay expenses.
  • Meals included in the staff canteen
  • 2 days off per week
  • Acttiv Contract: Permanent seasonal
  • Mutual insurance for accidents at work and civil liability insurance (during working hours).
  • Social Security
  • 30 (calendar) days holiday per year worked
  • Help with registration in the Spanish contribution system.
