About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, ensuring growth, motivation, and alignment with company goals.
• Foster a culture of learning, experimentation, and innovation, driving best practices in development.
• Conduct goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback sessions to support team development.
• Collaborate with product teams to attract, hire, and retain top engineering talent.

Project Delivery & Execution

• Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring they meet timelines and quality standards.
• Optimize task allocation and resources to maximize efficiency and team performance.
• Proactively identify risks and roadblocks, ensuring timely solutions and decision-making.

Technical Strategy & Guidance

• Provide technical leadership, ensuring engineering best practices are followed.
• Maintain a deep understanding of the tech stack, contributing to technical discussions and decisions.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to define the technical roadmap and strategic initiatives.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align on solutions, tools, and development standards.

Qué buscamos:

Un/a VP of Engineering con un perfil eminentemente técnico, apasionado/a por la arquitectura de sistemas, infraestructura escalable y la integración de soluciones de IA en productos SaaS.
Este rol es clave para liderar la evolución tecnológica de nuestra plataforma, asegurando que los equipos de desarrollo estén capacitados y alineados para construir soluciones que aporten valor real al cliente, utilizando la IA como herramienta estratégica.

¿Cuál será tu misión?

Liderar la arquitectura técnica de nuestra plataforma SaaS, garantizando escalabilidad, seguridad y rendimiento óptimo.

Diseñar y supervisar la infraestructura en la nube (preferiblemente en entornos como AWS o GCP), asegurando alta disponibilidad y resiliencia.

Integrar soluciones de IA existentes en nuestros productos, enfocándose en la aplicación práctica y el valor añadido para el usuario final.

Colaborar estrechamente con equipos de producto y diseño, traduciendo necesidades de negocio en soluciones técnicas efectivas.

Fomentar una cultura de excelencia técnica, promoviendo buenas prácticas de desarrollo, revisiones de código y formación continua.

Evaluar y seleccionar tecnologías emergentes, asegurando que las decisiones técnicas estén alineadas con los objetivos estratégicos de la empresa.

Requisitos

Experiencia comprobada (mínimo 8 años) en roles de liderazgo técnico en empresas SaaS, con un historial de implementación de soluciones escalables y seguras.

Conocimientos profundos en arquitectura de software, diseño de APIs, bases de datos y sistemas distribuidos.

Experiencia en la integración de soluciones de IA, como modelos de lenguaje, sistemas de recomendación o análisis predictivo, utilizando herramientas y servicios existentes.

Habilidad para tomar decisiones técnicas estratégicas, equilibrando la innovación con la viabilidad y el impacto en el negocio.

Excelentes habilidades de comunicación, capaces de traducir conceptos técnicos complejos en términos comprensibles para stakeholders no técnicos.
