Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Talent Acquisition Trainee to support our HR team across various recruitment activities. This role offers comprehensive exposure to the full talent lifecycle while providing valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic HR environment, including supporting our AI development initiatives.

The Talent Acquisition Trainee will support the team across multiple functions including internship program coordination, referral management, candidate screening, and diversity initiatives. You will assist with developing and posting job descriptions, screening resumes, conducting preliminary interviews, and scheduling follow-up meetings with hiring managers.

Your role will involve supporting our internship program by helping track applications, coordinating interviews, and assisting with onboarding activities. You will also help manage our employee referral program by processing referrals, tracking metrics, and assisting with program promotion.

As part of the onboarding process, you will prepare welcome packages, coordinate equipment setup, and schedule orientation sessions. When team members depart, you'll assist with exit interviews, equipment return, and maintaining offboarding checklists.

The position includes supporting our employer branding efforts through maintaining the careers page, assisting with recruitment marketing materials, and supporting our presence at career events. You will also contribute to diversity and inclusion initiatives by helping identify diverse talent pools, creating inclusive job descriptions, and tracking diversity metrics.

A key aspect of this role involves supporting our AI development initiatives by assisting in the recruitment of specialized AI talent, coordinating with technical teams to understand skill requirements, researching emerging AI roles and competencies, and helping develop assessment methods for AI-specific skills. You will help identify universities and institutions with strong AI programs for partnerships and stay informed about AI industry trends to better support our talent acquisition strategy.

Additional responsibilities include maintaining the Applicant Tracking System, scheduling interviews, preparing recruitment reports, and ensuring compliance with employment regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or currently pursuing)
  • Fluent English and strong proficiency in Spanish and/or Catalan required for effective communication with our diverse talent pool
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work
  • Basic knowledge of recruitment processes and HR principles
  • Interest in AI technologies and willingness to learn about the AI talent landscape
  • Ability to understand basic technical requirements for AI roles
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Adaptable team player with eagerness to learn and grow in HR
