Responsibilities:

• Keep up the pace of service: Assist in setting tables, replenishing table linen, glassware and cutlery to ensure smooth and uninterrupted service
• Be the host's support: Help greet diners, guiding them to their tables and offering water or drinks while the head waiter takes care of the initial details
• Liaise with the kitchen: Transport dishes from the kitchen to the dining room and back, ensuring they arrive at the right temperature and in perfect condition
• Anticipates needs: Observes assigned tables and offers unobtrusive assistance, removing empty plates, refilling drinks and attending to basic requests
• Learn and share the passion: Familiarise yourself with the menu and ingredients, asking questions of the head waiter and chef so you can answer simple questions from customers and show enthusiasm for gastronomy
  
  
  

Requirements

• Experience: Previous experience in the hospitality industry is an asset, but not essential. Experience in customer service positions or in dynamic environments will be an advantage
• Knowledge: Basic familiarity with food and beverage service standards. A willingness to learn and apply restaurant procedures is expected
• Communication: Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to interact courteously and efficiently with co-workers and customers
• Attention to detail: Care and attention to detail in the execution of assigned tasks. Commitment to cleanliness and tidiness of the work environment
• Availability: Flexible hours to cover various shifts, including evenings and weekends
• Image: Care for personal presentation, following the hygiene and dress standards established by the restaurant
