Job Description
Join our team as an F&B Service trainee in beautiful Sotogrande, Spain! We're looking for enthusiastic individuals eager to learn and grow in the exciting world of food and beverage service. As a trainee, you'll have the opportunity to develop essential skills and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.
- Assist in serving food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner
- Learn and apply proper table setting techniques and dining room preparation
- Interact with guests, addressing their needs and ensuring a positive dining experience
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and efficient order delivery
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area and service stations
- Familiarize yourself with menu items, daily specials, and beverage offerings
- Assist in processing payments and operating point-of-sale systems
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to improve service skills and product knowledge
- Support team members during peak hours and special events
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong interest in the hospitality industry and customer service
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and calculating bills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays/plates
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Basic English language skills; knowledge of Spanish is a plus
- Food handling certification preferred but not required (training will be provided)
