European Head of Business - HVAC (Light Commercial) (H/M/X)

The Head of Business Team Europe is responsible for the overall performance of the Light Commercial Air Conditioning business across the European region.
This role carries full P&L accountability and ensures the alignment of product, market, and operational activities with the global Product Line strategy.
The position requires a strong combination of business leadership, technical understanding, and execution capability in a complex, multi-country environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full P&L responsibility for the Light Commercial Air Conditioning business in Europe (revenue, gross margin, profitability)
- Define and implement the regional business strategy in alignment with global Product Line objectives (market, product, R&D, manufacturing)
- Manage and steer the product portfolio (PAC, VRF) across multiple brands.
- Define and control the pricing strategy, ensuring consistency across country organizations
- Monitor and drive business performance, including margin development and product mix optimization
- Ensure alignment with country sales organizations and key commercial partners
- Translate regulatory requirements into product and market actions across European countries
- Oversee relevant processes along the value chain, including marketing, pre-sales, after-sales, and spare parts
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Engineering (Energy, Building Services, Industrial or equivalent)
- Additional business qualifications are an advantage
- Proven experience in the HVAC industry with solid understanding of:
- Technologies, applications, and system integration in buildings
- European market structure, competitors, and trends
- Regulatory frameworks and their impact on product development
- Strong track record in P&L management and business steering
- Advanced knowledge of:
- Pricing mechanisms (pricing waterfalls, margin control, cost steering)
- Sales channels and partner business models across Europe
- Working with contractors, developers, and key commercial partners
- Good understanding of:
- Building requirements and architectural constraints
- End-to-end commercial processes (from marketing to after-sales)
- Global competitive landscape, including Asian manufacturers
